great all-round gloves for those that like to train with them
i'm going to give a review of this product 'in a vacuum' as it were, because i personally prefer to train without gloves at the gym. but i will review this product 'as is' for the purpose of those who do prefer to train with gloves.from a comfort perspective they are great. i ordered size XL and consider myself to have just below average sized hands for a middle-aged male. they fit just right. the fabric material feels nice to wear but is also pretty sturdy.looks-wise they're pretty smart. i like the combination of black & grey and they look the part when you're training in them.so enough about looks and feel. how do they perform as gym gloves? as i said previously i prefer to train without gloves to try and maximize my own grip strength and so on even if that means suffering with things like callouses. but these gloves do help noticeably, as they should, when performing exercises like pull-ups. and because they are fingerless you still have some feel & contact with the bar or whatever equipment you're training on. the padding also provides adequate softness when performing big movements like bench press or barbell military press etc and so far they seem to be holding up well from a durability standpoint.these gloves unlike traditional non-gym focussed fingerless gloves come with attached wrists straps. i'm not sure if these can be used in a way to assist deadlifts or whether they are just for additional support but i assume they are for that purpose as they roll out to a considerable length (see image) that wouldn't really be necassary if it were just for support. i will have to test them out on deadlifts in the near future.as far as gym gloves go these are very good value for the price and i would recommend them if you would rather train with gloves than without.

Love these gloves!
This is the second pair of gloves that I have bought. I go to the gym almost every day and like to wash my gloves after as I get incredibly sweaty! I rotate them so I've always got a fresh pair to wear. These are great fitting, comfortable and really help my grip. I use them weightlifting, and whilst on the resistance machines, and I also use them for dumbell and kettlebell workouts. I have even used them temporarily playing hockey to support a thumb/wrist injury (along with taping). The wrist strap is really good and doesn't 'bobble' or curl up like the fluffy velco wrist straps do. After over a year the wrist strap works just as well as it did when I got them.I wash these in a 30 degree wash, along with my gym clothes with ordinary washing gel and conditioner. I do air dry them but they've been through the tumble drier by accident a fair few times and they are still as good as new. I have had my original pair for over a year and they are still in great condition.

Very comfortable fit. Highly recommended
Okay, I’ve been weight-training for decades and gloves are an essential part of my session. Having tried and tested many brands over the years, I have compiled a checklist of things I look for as follows:1) Comfort - the fabric has to be soft enough to allow flexibility and dexterity when handling weights.2) Cushion/padding - this has to be in exactly the right place to absorb the weight of the bar/dumbbells against the palm. Also, when performing pull-ups there has to be sufficient grip to prevent those dreaded calluses from forming.3) Breathable - the fabric has to be thin enough to prevent build up of sweat on the back of your hand.4) Easy to remove - it always helps after a session, once your fingers/hands are swollen from the blood flow, to be able to remove the gloves with ease.5) No glove ‘rigor mortis’ - nothing worse than buying gym gloves which end up been stiff as a board after use.So, how did these gloves fair against my criteria? I bought a ‘Large’ pair to allow for expansion and more coverage. Firstly, they are light, very comfortable - you don’t realise you are wearing them. Secondly, when I tested them for the first time performing bench press, the palm padding withstood the pressure of the bar. The padding is in exactly the right place making supporting the weight and maintaining a good grip easier. Thirdly, no build of sweat on the back of my hand, it evaporated very quickly. Fourthly, the tags on the middle fingers allow you to take the gloves off with ease, rather than using ones teeth (as I have done previously!). Finally, they maintained their shape and did not go stiff/rigid after a few hours. All in all, a very safe pair of gloves which help to enhance your weight training. Four stars given overall as ‘Durability’ not fully tested as I have only used them a couple of times.

Great comfortable, supportive gloves. (L)
Received the item quickly and packaged well. I have been training with the gloves (size L) for a couple of weeks and I find them very comfortable and fit well. I was unsure on the size when ordering but following the size guidelines made this easy and accurate.. so no need to return item due to choosing wrong size. I have used many gloves during my bodybuilding years and I find these beat them all. My hands are able to breath and removing the gloves is easy... no struggling to peel gloves off hot sweaty hands. Although a bit bulky, I love the wrist supports. The gloves support the wrists well, preventing any strains. Also there is good padding in areas where needed most, without making the gloves bulky or stiff. The gloves are flexible making it easy to grip and move fingers. I find them so comfy and supportive, I have been wearing them when I am doing any manual work and not just for gym work outs. I would definitely recommend these gloves. The gloves feel well made and I am sure they won't need replacing anytime soon, but I will definitely buy them again.

Not very durable
These gloves are fine. They protect your hands and give you more grip when lifting. Be aware that they are not very durable. Some of the stitching is already coming undone after 6 uses.
