Bought in September 20, 2017, one of the best chargers side by side with the one from Amazon Basic. Love this due to the extra open port, sadly as of last week the Micro USB seems to connect/disconnect every 10 to 15 seconds... otherwise it was great

We liked the Maxboost charger so much we actually bought a 2nd one and gave it as a give. We use WAZE and it uses a lot of battery power and with the Maxboost our phone stayed charged completely the entire 8 hour trip.. I highly recommend the Maxboost car charger as it actually our preforms what it says it will do.

So I am a newly converted Android user (switched from my iPhone 6s to the new Galaxy S8+ and lovin it!) and am learning rather quickly about the difference between the two worlds. This review portrays one of those differences.When searching on Amazon for a car charger for my new phone, this was the first one that popped up and after reading the reviews I was sold. However, it was ultimately my fault that I didn't pick up on the fact that this comes with a C-type micro USB adapter, which is something that I did not know I would need for my phone in order to charge it. I was expecting the C-type cable to be built in to the charger itself.This is not really an issue to some, but for me it was because I could see myself loosing this small little adapter rather quickly, and I was not going to take the chance on that, so I had to return it. But before I returned it I was curious to see the charging power it had and let me tell you, it is incredibly impressive how fast it charged my phone while on my way to work and back on the short 20 minute drive to and from my house. But again, just to remind you how easily it would be to loose the adapter, every time I went to unplug my phone from the charger the adapter would remain on the phone. Again to some this probably isn't a big deal, but if you are in a haste (like me most in most instances) it would be lost in no time.So 4 stars it is, because I feel that for less technical people like me, it should be a little clearer that for the new phones that require C-type charging you will get an adapter. Maybe the seller should include a picture as well.

This is a great charger. It charges quickly, and I can use navigation while charging. When I get to my destination, my phone is actually charged more than when I started, so it more than keeps up. I had been using a charger that cost over twice as much, but my phone would drain while I was using navigation. If I hit a small bump when using the old charger, the cable would fall out of my phone. This one fits snugly and never falls out. The only thing I wonder about is the blue light that stays lit even when I turn off the car. Is it draining my car battery if I don't unplug it? It would seem so, but I guess it's minimal. I usually leave my car charger plugged in all the time. The old one probably drained it too, but it didn't have that nice blue light. I'm happy! :)

When I first received this product, I was a little disappointed in seeing the cord required and adapter to be placed on the end to plug into the phone. Rolled with it though....I will say that the product charges very quickly when you can keep it attached to the phone. The problem is the cord does not fit snugly into the phone and easily becomes detached. The adapter also is a clumsy fit with the charger cord and also is easily detached and something that can be lost withe little effort. This alone makes this product a real no-go, but what really did it for me is that a few days ago, the charger became stuck on the phone and had to be pried off which damaged the charging port irreparably, rendering my phone non-chargeable except via wireless charging. Please seek another car-charging option or be sorry later like I was.

Charger works great! Quick charges my Note5 on the attached micro USB and my wife's iPhone 6+ on the USB port without problems. The only issue I forsee in the future is that the cord looks a little flimsy, but for the price and the performance I would gladly buy another one.Update: 3/2018I was right the flimsy cable is the weak point - the micro USB cable prongs no longer held the cable in place, but I just o plug another cable into the empty USB port and charge my phone that way. Kind of inconvenient, but still works.

Charges fast and good length on the cord. It isn't so long that it gets stuck out the bottom of the passenger door and caked in 6" of straight mud. Which, when you think about it... is really handy. Keeps my electronic leash charged up all the time so the wife always knows where I am at. PHEW! Thanks MAXBOOST! I'd recommend this for shiz.

I like these, the main charger cord does the fast charge on my S7 Edge. The 2nd connection just does a regular slow charge. It's still nice to be able to have 2 phones charging at once, but it would be better if the 2nd port did a fast charge as well.That being said, they are kind of fragile, they last quite awhile but you have to be gentile with them. I'm on my second one in about a year. But they go traveling with us, get stuffed in bags, etc. They are affordable enough to keep getting them, unless I find one that does dual port fast charge.
