So disappointed!
I am so disappointed that I could NOT reproduce the failures described and/or shown in pictures by other reviewers. I loaded the tumblers in the top rack per instructions, set on high-heat, and they made it through without warping, cracking, or separating. I also tried to get condensation on mine, but no luck. Just dry and somewhat cool on the outside, but no moisture, even in a steamy bathroom with a fogged mirror. Then I tried the ice test. Again, sad news: the ice lasts a long time. I was able to get it to melt fast if I poured a room temp beverage over the ice, but if it was a cold drink, the ice lasts hours, at least indoors. Then I tried the same thing outside in the Las Vegas heat and discovered that when it's hot outside (95° or more) the ice melts faster! Even faster in the sun! Wow, what a surprise. I have an insulated metal cup which keeps ice better, but it doesn't look as nice as these tumblers, and I hate the taste and feel of the metal rim when I drink out of them. Plus I cannot wash that metal one in the dishwasher or the paint comes off.So, since mine are working perfectly, I'm must (regretably) rate them 5 stars.Seriously, tho, I'm pretty impressed with these so far.Downsides:-somewhat pricey-they are large and can be difficult for my wife to hold; I'll need to get the smaller size for her.

I CANT GET THEM CLEAN!
I can’t get these darn things clean! I LOVE the size and shape...but I can’t figure out how to get the haze off the inside surface! I’d bought four...put two away...and have been rotating the two (one a day) every day for coffee. They go in the dishwasher every night...but they don’t come clean! I’ve tried soaking...scrubbing...nothing works! I give up!

What Guarantee? BUYER BEWARE!
I love the glass, absolutely love it. However, I have had a issue with the glass, becoming fogged or marked kind of a white opaque where my coffee line comes to. I followed the directions to return the first 2 glasses as requested by the company, as the other 2 were still OK, and as I said I love my glasses and did not want to do without them all. I thought it may only be two of the four which may have had the issue. Well, now I have 2 more (which makes all 4) with the marks and I have never heard back from Tervis to replace them as the are to have a lifetime guarantee. I would gladly purchase more, if the company stood behind their product, and replaced the now 4 glasses. Is this too much to ask? I have sent a second email to them and nothing.BUYER BEWARE!.

They may seem expensive but but are well-worth the price.
I've lived in Florida my entire life and have never bought genuine Tervis tumblers because I always thought they were too expensive. I was wrong! They are absolutely the best tumblers I've ever owned and well-worth the price. Before writing my review, I read the negative reviews to see what other reviewers could possibly NOT like about these tumblers and none of the complaints made much sense to me. Most of them had to do with discoloring due to contact with sunscreens and citrus juices. The Tervis website has very good info about use and care. If you read the info and follow their advice, you shouldn't have any problems. I have many friends who have been using the same Tervis tumblers daily for 15 or 20 years. Although they don't look new, they still look good enough to use even when they have guests over. For me, the 16 oz size is perfect for general use. It's big enough for iced tea but not so big you can't use it for coffee, juice, milk, mixed drinks, etc. Also, they are small enough to fit easily in cabinets and dishwashers and they fit my large hands and my wife's small hands comfortably. They have an unconditional guarantee against breakage and defects and, if you need to exchange them they don't charge for shipping or handling and don't require proof of purchase. In short, I like everything about them and recommend them without qualification. Them may seem a little expensive but are actually a bargain when you consider how versatile they are and how long they last. I've owned less expensive knockoffs and there is no comparison. Bite the bullet and buy them. You won't regret it..

These are either fake or "Outlet" Tumblers
The price seemed too good to be true and it was - 3 months in and the tumblers already have the infamous moisture film between their layers. I have tumblers from Tervis.com that are 5+ years old and are just now starting to get the same film.I went to fill out the lifetime guarantee form from the Tervis website to learn that these would not be covered. Basically the way you can tell whether a Tervis tumbler is genuine is whether it has "Lifetime Guarantee" etched onto the bottom underneath the "Made in America" engraving. Tervis only guarantees tumblers that contain this stamp of authenticity. The tumblers I received from this seller do not contain this language on the bottom of them; in addition they don't even say "Made in America" but rather "Made in USA". Tervis.com calls these "Outlet" tumblers and lists them clearly in their "What's Not Covered" section. Whether "Outlet Tumblers" means they are sold at Tervis Outlet stores or something else I am not sure, but at the end of the day these are not the same tumblers you receive directly from Tervis and are also not covered by the Lifetime Guarantee. This is very deceptive because the Lifetime Guarantee is a big part of their value proposition and helps justify the hefty price tag.See photo for comparison of a genuine Tervis tumbler (on the left) and one of these so-called "Outlet" Tumblers (on the right). Also included a snippet of Tervis' "What's Not Covered" policy where they call this out.

Disappointed
I thought this would come with the lid and it did not. Now I have to order a lid separately. I have never had to do this with any tervis cups I have had in the past. Very disappointed in this.

Strong but Too Big, Ugly & Sharp on the Lips
These tumblers are tough and they will keep your drinks cold. No question. I dropped one onto tile yesterday at it was just fine. But I really don't like the way they look. A cleaner design - and a smaller size (20 oz instead of 24 oz) - would have been preferred. Also, there is a sharp edge on the inner side of the lip of the cup that cuts my lips. It should be totally smooth so this won't happen. I have the 16 oz version that I bought 4 years ago and it's completely smooth (no lip cutting). It looks like it was just a quality control issue. I discovered it after the return period so I can't return them now. It's too bad. A great product otherwise.
