FRIGIDAIRE FHWW083WB1 8,000 BTU Connected Window-Mounted Room Air Conditioner, White

I I took out my GE 8000 BTU air conditioner because it was more noisy and it spit some moisture into the room and I can only set it as low as 64°. I like it cold in my bedroom at night and the Frigidaire can be set down to 60°.

Tried multiple times to connect to WiFi with no avail. Network comes up with a different name than what the app wants to see. I've reset accordingly with still no connect. I called support and basically the ARU said they can't take calls. This is very disappointing especially if I have to uninstall the whole unit to send back somewhere. Finally I receive an email from support saying there are 2 Apps! So lo and behold, I downloaded the wrong one. Unbelievable, ya think they would of sent something with the unit explaining this. So after hours of frustration everything seems to work fine. Runs fairly quiet, seems to cool nicely, we'll see how it holds up. Love the WiFi control now that it's finally working.

Avoid! It started making loud noises then stopped working after the Amazon return window. The Frigidaire return process was a stressful and convoluted waste of energy and time dealing with incompetent employees. Just buy from a local store so you can return more quickly if there's a problem.

We have a trailer at the beach and put this in the main room, it works wonderfully!!!! Keeps it so cool and comfortable in that room. The screen does not stay lit so every now and then I hit the temp button to make sure of what temp we have it on.Love this product.

I'm delighted. This air conditioner works as soon as you plug it in and immediately blows cold air.I bought another air conditioner that does not cool this well. I sure wish I'd bought another one of these instead.Get this one.

A little expensive but works great

Great air conditioner, cools attic bedroom quickly! Installation was easy. Replaced 6000 btu cheap air conditioner with this 8000 btu and what a difference! A little more expensive, but you get what you pay for! Well worth it, no more warm sleepless nights.

I do NOT recommend this Air Conditioner. I've had several Frigidaire AC units over the years and they were always excellent. Not this one. It runs extremely loud, to the "can't hear yourself think" extreme. The remote control was crushed when received. The condition of the AC packaging when received made me wonder if the unit wasn't a previously returned item. Very disappointed.

This air conditioner is pretty good. It’s not too loud and cools almost the whole house and it’s installed upstairs. The quality is pretty top notch. The product came in slightly damaged so I’m knocking off a star. The name brand is why I even decided to purchase the product. The price is a little steep to be honest. The Wi-Fi feature is awesome. The app you install is good but definitely needs work. I love how I can turn on the AC when I’m at work at any time and have the room/house cool before I get home. Frigidaire is a top quality brand in my opinion and this AC is nice, just slightly overpriced.

Well everything checks out a few things you need to know before you buyIt’s heavyNoisy, if you will install it on the window it may be less as working mechanical part will be out of the window. But if you are going to use it any other way it turns hot and noisy.

Just a few minutes to install and setup the wifi. Cool the room very well and I especially like the two stage eco mode. Only runs on stage when needed and unit will shut off once the set room temperature is reached. Highly recommend.

We set it up this past weekend to test it out before summer, it was quieter then expected and we felt the temperature in the room drop quickly we are using to cool a 600sq ft room very happy with our purchase.

Noise level v low. Remote works well and the app is great. Overall it's a perfect air condition. My friends have been impressed and now during summer months, next year they are also planning on getting it too.Oh ! Quality of material compared to other ones I have had , this one is far better
