Lightweight and protective
I got this case because I'd had a similar one for my last iPhone and it worked well. I never used it underwater, but it seemed to offer good protection, which was mainly what I was looking for. My husband has an Otterbox case (which, believe me, he needs), but it's quite heavy and I'm generally a lot more careful than he is. The case passed the test when I immersed it before I put the phone in. I still don't really plan to use it underwater, but I frequently have it in a pocket of my purse where it's exposed to the elements and it's nice to know that the frequent rain here won't damage it if it gets wet. I give it a four because the fingerprint recognition feature only occasionally works with the case on. To me, that's not a big deal.

Honestly, you get what you pay for.
This is my first review ever on an item so I figured maybe someone out there should at least know what this case is about.I bought this because of all the wonderful reviews. I'm starting to really question a lot of these reviews later so hopefully I can shed some real honest truth. After taking it out the box my first reaction was concern for how cheaply made it is. I was looking for a brick, because I had a super case that was just too bulky and unnecessarily heavily. That's why I bought this one. As far as being waterproof-Do not trust any phone with this. Maybe it will keep your phone dry on a light rainy day. After putting the case together without my phone inside(Which is what the instructions said) I decided to put it in an inch of water for about 3-5 seconds. Sure enough looking inside there was water and trust me I made sure that bad boy was completely together so it wasn't like I left a part open. I dried it off and just to test it again I put it back together and repeated the test with the same results. Overall as a case it looks alright. The buttons and the home button work well including fingerprint recognition and the touchscreen. But like I said just don't trust it around water. Also should note that it does seem to be about a 8/10 as far protecting it in case I drop it. Don't really want to test that out. Thanks for reading and hope it helps you make an informed decision.

I actually like this phone case a lot more than I thought ...
I actually like this phone case a lot more than I thought I would. I love love the lifeproof case but after reading the reviews for the lifeproof 6 plus cases it was apparent that the $100 case was not any better than a $20 knockoff. I have two small kids and was looking for a case that would keep the gummy gunk out of my phone ports and this case is excellent for that purpose. It is also very sleek and slim and was easy to install. I do notice slightly less sensitivity on the screen but it does not bother me. I was not willing to part with my fantastic invisible shield screen protector so I am working through what amounts to two screen protectors. I have to give it three stars because the door that covers the charging port does not stay closed well and I think that is a major flaw for an allegedly waterproof case. If I were taking my phone to the beach or the pool I would put tape or something over that little door to reinforce it.

Shake n Bake
The case itself is nice, the screen cover part of it fits a little loose on mine making some parts of the screen slightly more inconvenient to reach. the case is made out of all plastic and no parts of it are rubberized for grip so personally it does seem a bit slippery but besides that its a really great case. I got it simply for its rugged and protective look and have no interest in ever having it underwater but it is water resistant.UPDATE: The mesh protecting the holes for the speaker ripped on mine 2 days after I goy my case. Maybe not the most dependable case in terms of quality but its protection from drops is still good.

Okay purchase. Ringer switch is a pain though...
Just received my case in the mail. I have the iPhone 6Plus and it fits well. It also passed the water test. My only two complaints are 1. The plastic screen cover isn't as snug as previous cases so you do have to type a little harder. That's no biggie. 2. My biggest complaint is no matter how I install it, with the ringer turned on or off, it will not turn on. My phone is stuck on silent mode because the latch won't turn and I've taken the case apart multiple times to fix it. Other than that it's going to serve its purpose. It's not very bulky so it doesn't make my already enormous phone much bigger.

Love this case!
This case is great! I used to use red pepper brand cases for my iPhone 5 and it saved it from dying in the pool. I knew I could trust this band with my 6 plus. I use it for when I go camping and I love that it comes with the wrist strap. I was able to tie my phone to my belt loop while at universal studios on vacation. Love this case!

Happy so far with purchase
Color is slightly lighter than picture. Water test held up as expected, does come with AUX. adapter cable that actually screws into the case only because of the width of the case itself. Happy so far with purchase, if I drop and break my phone from a reasonable height or if I flood it at shallow depth you can bet your ass I'll update this review.

Family member loves it!
My family member LOVES this one. Says it's lightweight but still takes a hit and not problems. Splashed water on it (after testing it of course) and no problems We did have to modify one of the charging cables to fit into the bottom but it was an aftermarket cable so we'll blame them not this case.
