Accurate and easy to use.
I use this item everyday. It’s a great way to keep track of your steps, and really easy to use.

It stopped working
I thought it was a good brand, never believed it was going to stop working in less than a month. It stopped working after like a week and I am not talking about the battery, it is still ON, just doesn't count anything anymore. I don't even want to go through the hassle of returning.

Vastly under counts steps, especially start and stop movement. Too easy to bump reset button.
This step counter doesn't count steps very accurately, and the buttons are easy to bump when unclipping the pedometer so that the step information is reset to zero and lost. There have been many times when testing the best way to use this when the steps showed zero when I checked it. In order to not over count steps due to random movement, the steps are not counted until you've done 10 similar steps in a row. Since I do a lot of work in the kitchen and gardening that is under 10 steps, then a pause, then more steps, this means a lot of steps are not being counted. Also, it seems like it is not counting those first 10 steps, either. If I step 50 steps in a row, it only counts like 32 steps. Frankly, an app on my phone works better than this. I had thought a dedicated device would work better, but I guess not. I will note that it seems to count steps better when this is clipped to my shoe rather than to my waistband. I'll update after little bit if I figure out how to make it work better. The step counter comes with a battery, and you remove the plastic strip preventing connection in order to turn on the pedometer. It is then constantly on, though it does go into a sleep mode when there is no movement. The instructions that come with it are not very clear, but you're supposed to be able to set things like stride length. You hit the mode button to switch between steps, distance, calories burned, time spent walking, speed, the clock, and total steps. There is also a reset button along one edge and a set button along with other edge. You can remove the counter from the clip (mainly to access the battery chamber). My accidental reset problem has been when the buttons are near the top of the clip, where you have to squeeze to release the clip. I still seem to bump the buttons when the ends are switched, but it's not as often.

More good than bad
Great little pedometer that also measures calories. Only complaint is that the screen got rubbed in the pocket somehow and is now cloudy and a little difficult to read.

it works
does what it says it will do

Look elsewhere for a pedometer
I found the instructions confusing, the letters on the pedometer are so tiny they're almost impossible to read, and from the other reviews I read it sounded like this wouldn't last long. I returned it the day after I received it, spent a few more dollars and bought a much better one.
