Disney Frozen Storybook Collection Advent Calendar Calendar – Advent Calendar, October 6, 2020

This is the 4th year I have read these books to my daughter. Every night for the past 4 years in December, I play “When We’re Together,” she comes running into the room excited to cuddle up and read with daddy. She is nine and I bet we’ll get many more years out of these stories.

Normally I do a book sack for my daughters leading up to Christmas where I wrap books and they get to pick one every few days. It gets expensive. They love it, but my oldest daughter is going to LOVE this Advent book calendar. It's huge! And we'll get 24 Frozen themed stories, not just movie recaps. Each book is wrapped in snowflake sleeves in a pocket and you can move them around if you want to.The books fit in your hand so they have tiny print, just be aware. The stories are great and colorful pictures. This is a healthy alternative to candy Advent calendars. For $22, this was a great deal for 24 books! So excited for her to see this leading up to Christmas!

The calendar itself was larger than I thought and the little books are really cute. I haven't read them all yet but what I have looked though are nice stories from the Frozen realm. My four year old is obsessed with Elsa so she was more than delighted to open this on December 1st. My only caution might be that the printing in the books is of a smaller font, but should be fine for readers.

This just arrived and I am saving it for December. My kids are going to enjoy this long after Christmas. The books come in slots wrapped in a paper so they are hidden. After Christmas, I know my kids will still store their books in the slots and play with this as a set b/c they love things like this. The book is large and sturdy.My only criticism is that a picture of all the books is printed on the back of the large book. What's the point of individually wrapping the stories if you are going to print every book on the back? I am going to tape a paper over this and tell my kids to ignore that part until they are done unwrapping them all.No books were missing - I checked all the slots just to be sure.

Very nice calendar! Beautifully organized, short sweet stories, just right for the beginning reader, nicely illustrated. I just wish there was something else (like a necklace or a other small souvenir) as a "reward" for a completion of the calendar...Also, this thing is HUGE. I actually quite like it, but be prepared that the size of a calendar is about three times larger than a piece of a letter-size paper...

My daughter wants to do this advent calendar again this year so it will function for 2 years in a row. She loves the stories and they are short enough and she is getting old enough to try and read them herself now. Great purchase.

Books are great. They are a good length, not cheap dollar store books like I expected. This has been a great advent calendar and my 6 year old daughter looks forward to her book every night!
