Mom Loves her Samsung Galaxy ETab 9.6!
I bought this tablet for my mom-who is a tablet novice and loves playing games on her computer-but loves the flexibility of doing so on a mobile device. She has a Jittetbug smartphone, which is an android operating system so the Samsung Galaxy seemed an obvious choice for a tablet. I bought this Used but like New and I was not disappointed when I received it. It delivered a day or two earlier than scheduled and it was in pristine condition. It was 60% charged already and several useful apps were already loaded onto it. I found several tutorials on line to learn how to operate it and to be able to show my mom how to as well. It is a beautiful sleek device, clear graphics and the screen is right-sized for her. My mother loves, loves, loves this tablet and she is thrilled with it! She loves that it has made her game playing mobile and takes it to her nail and any other appointments she has where she may have to wait. I also bought her the Moko tablet cover specifically for this model in the magenta and she is a very happy camper. I should add mom is 86 and I know this helps keep her sharp and it's been a pleasure for me to watch her grow more comfortable in using her tablet and to appreciate the immediacy of this device. She may ask me a question about something and now instead of asking. "Look it up on your tablet," she now says, "I'll look it up on my tablet."'

Perfect
I waited a good long time before writing a review. I didn't want to say how much I love this and then realize later I didn't as I planned to have this long term. So, almost three years after buying it here I am.I bought this because laptops were no longer my thing, and I had soured on desktop computers too. I wanted something smaller, portable, but could do a lot of the same stuff I needed a computer for. This is it. The perfect size for watching movies, listening to music, and with the addition of a fintie case with blue tooth keyboard, I can even use this for writing. The apps have everything I need including word and system management. The screen is nice. No complaints. The volume isn't perfect but I use headphones and those work perfectly. It really has replaced a desktop for me.And with an added sd card and cloud storage I really don't think the memory will ever be an issue. Can't recommend it enough

Great Product at a Great Price
I am not a tech person but have worked with my fair share of computers, laptops and tablets and this product is the best one yet. My husband has an i-Pad and I fell in love with it, often using it instead of my laptop. I decided I needed to get one for myself and after a great deal of research, purchased this tablet. This product charges quickly and holds a charge for several hours (6 or more) depending on what systems are running. I was concerned about the Android operating system because I use a Windows phone and wanted something that would sync with my OneDrive and OneNote (just as my bulky laptop does) and this product is equipped to do that. I was also happy to see that Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint were preloaded and ready to go. It does give the user the option to purchase the upgrade to Office 365, but the older version works fine for my purposes. I can work, surf and play on my tablet for hours without any issuesAfter several days of use I can say the iPad is a distant memory and I am so happy with my Galaxy Tablet. I did purchase the two (2) year protection package for added piece of mind, but have no concerns.

Good value for light work and basics
I'll give you the tl;dr version first:If you want a basic tablet to browse the internet, watch videos and play games, it's good value. If you need a productivity device, you might want to try a different brand.I got this to replace a dying second-gen iPad mini. It provides about the same level of performance as the second-gen iPad mini when it was new, although less likely to crash when loading internet pages from a secondary app.Graphics are nice and smooth, good image resolution, responsive touchscreen. Excellentcameras. Apps and videos load quickly. Sound quality is very clean, even the onboard speaker is crisp. It does occasionally go blind to its WiFi connection, requiring a quick off-and-on-again -- annoying but easy to resolve.I'm strongly displeased with its word-processing user interface. I do a *lot* of writing -- it's the main reason I need a tablet -- and the way the spell-check/replace function operates is needlessly complicated and frustrating, as is the way the cursor drops in the middle of words rather than finding the nearest end (honestly I could write their QA department a full report on providing smoother function and accessibility for the word-processing UI). There is no way to disable gesture typing -- leading to numerous spelling errors -- and the keyboard (it doesn't matter which style is used, this happens with all of them) is hypersensitive and requires an obtrusive level of precision; I have tried typing with hands and with a fine-point stylus with similar messy results, and had to resolve the issue by purchasing a bluetooth keyboard. Not a good productivity device on its own; given a good peripheral setup it provides adequate function. I'm hoping future software updates improve things.
