Q: Can this also be used with shower or just bathing?

The tub has standard cutouts for a spout and drain. Valves are mounted above on the wall, and so is the shower head if you choose to have one. So yes, it can be used with a shower. You'll also want to install a curtain rod or sliding door.

Q: What would be the full width from inside edge to inside edge?

Depending on the depth that you measure at, the inside of the tub is several different widths. It's about 21.5" wide fairly near the base and expands out to 24" wide at the very top. I have wide hips and found this tub to be wider and more comfortable than many of the other 60"x32" tubs that I sat in at several different showrooms.

Q: What is the step-over height of this tub?

From the bathroom floor into the tub it’s 20 “ to the top. From the tub out to the floor it’s about 18 1/2 “ to the top inside ledge. There is a slight slant up on the top shelf of the tub which adds another 1/2 inch to climb over and out.

Q: What is the water depth?

The measurement from the base of the tub to the bottom edge of the drain overflow is 14.75". However, I use one of those inexpensive, clear overflow drain covers and fill the tub to about 16"-17" with no problems. I love the deep, relaxing soaks I get in this tub. I'm 5'4" and with the additional overflow cover in place the water depth covers my knees and shoulders at the same time!
