Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue

My three 1/2 year old daughter can not get enough of the Tinker Bell movies! This one was even more exciting for her because now she actually believes that some day, Tinker Bell will come and visit her, too. It is so much fun to watch her imagine playing with a fairy, acting out some of the scenes from the movie, and longing to make her own fairy house. So, not only is this fun to watch, it's also supplying endless inspiration for creativity, drawing, crafts and flying around the house!I have to admit that I am a huge fan of the Disney Fairies movies, myself. After watching a couple of the princess movies and suddenly hearing my little one speak of "killing" and "bad guys" and wondering why there was fighting and violence, I realized that was not what I wanted for my daughter. These fairies are better role models and there are always examples of friendship and relationships with others to talk about (both good and bad) on a more realistic level. We talk about how everyone is different, with different talents, and how that works when we help each other out. She has her favorite fairy, and sometimes it changes, but overall, these movies are cute, fun, brightly animated and truly age-appropriate for young ones. Highly recommended!

I love this movie, it has such a cute storyline, the animation is beautiful & the whole film was put together very well. I am a huge fan of Disney films still at the age of 23 and I still very much enjoy these types of films. I am very happy Disney has created movies surrounding tinkerbell and the disney fairies, its about time tinkerbell gets her own movies, she is such a cute and loving character. This movie kept my attention and I loved everything about it, the storyline is great and all the characters are adorable. My husband even enjoyed watching this film with me and I have watched this film quite a few times since I have owned it. Who couldn't enjoy a film with animation that is so beautiful and a story that cute. This film would be great for children of all ages, and if your an adult that is a disney fan like I am i think you will defiently find this movie enjoyable. Don't pass this up, at least give it a try, it will not disappoint.

I was not a fan of Peter Pan so I will admit that I was resistant to try the Tinkerbell movies at first. But my daughter loves them and I can understand why. In the Tinkerbell movies she is nice, friendly and overall very happy. Yes, she has a short fuze and gets angry but she is a much nicer Tinkerbell than in the Peter Pan movie. Plus, it is nice to see the different fairies with their quirks and talents. The Great Fairy Rescue fits in nicely with the others in the series and we watch it in rotation pretty regularly. The story is centered on Tinkerbell after she gets captured by a fairy loving little girl. While all of Tink's friends are trying to come to her rescue, she helps educate the inquisitive little girl on the fairy world and help mend the little girls relationship with her otherwise occupied scientist researcher father. Very cute story about friendship, sacrifice and family.

Ordered this hoping my 3 yr old granddaughter would love it. Finally talked her into watching it and she's definitely into it. Disc plays perfect.

Give me for kids. The only thing I do not like is that there was a sticker placed to the back with a big barcode and price.

I have never written a review before this one and after seeing this movie, I felt it was time. We have the first two Tinkerbell movies and I thought they were well written, had great animation and a storyline with a lot of heart. A lot of the movies out there for children have very mean characters, use words that in a "G" rated movie I feel are inappropriate and wouldn't want my children repeating, and or focus too much of the movie on the mean characters. This being said, I have been very pleased as are both my children one a boy (age 4) and my daughter (age 5)with all three of the Tinkerbell movies. This movie had a lot of heart, was funny and shows children the value of friendship. I would recommend this to any parent who feels a children's movie should have a positive, fun-loving, and funny storyline. My children had asked to watch this again as soon as it ended!!! Two thumbs way up!

My 2.5 year old has recently had trouble sleeping. She watched a Halloween episode of Bubble Guppies and it scared her so she thinks that there is a ghost in her room now. Not good. I bought her a night light to help her sleep and she picked out one that projects Tinkerbell and other fairies on her bedroom wall. However, she had never watched anything with Tinkerbell in it so I went looking for a movie that she would like and that wouldn't have anything scary. This definitely fit the bill. She loves this movie!! I think I have seen it about twenty times now, and we only got it a few days ago! She recognizes the fairies projected by her night light and she is already sleeping better. Oh, and I absolutely love that Tinkerbell is interested in tinkering and fixing things. It is such a rarity with characters that are aimed at little girls. We will be buying more Tinkerbell movies.

I love the heartfelt and "human nature" storyline. The relationships in the animated movie ring true with wonderful character growth. This is wonderful for children and adults alike!
