Plug-and-Play compatible in my use case. No problems, no drivers needed, "it just works".My use case:Wireless Receiver is plugged into a USB hub along with an XBOX One Controller, connected to a "Roll Limitless" adapter, to my XBOX One S. This allows me to connect my wireless (XBOX 360) Rock Band drum kit to the XBOX One S and play Rock Band 4.The Wireless Receiver works beautifully for this purpose and is dead simple to use. Literally plug-and-play.

It works, simple as that. I've had zero issues, in fact, I actually forgot that I didn't have the official Xbox one at some point because it works so well.

Don't buy this, Microsoft nuked all the 3rd party drivers in Windows 10, unless you want to do an hour worth of trouble shooting just to have this still not work don't waste $30 on this.In order to fix it you have to disable driver signatures on your PC which is super risky and can lead to viruses getting system level access.Again do not buy this.

The original product review is below, but since that review I was able to replace the product and the second iteration works quite a bit better.. There is still some general wonkiness with not pairing, so I wouldn't want to really rely on this product much, but it *does* work with my Steam Link and Windows 10.If you do get a bad product, try sending it back and see if the replacement works any better.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought this as a cheaper to replace the insanely expensive microsoft adapter I had for my steam link that went bad. Plugging into the steam link, you can get the light flash, but when my controllers were put in pairing mode, none of them worked.I thought maybe this was a steam link issue so I tried plugging it into my windows 10 PC. I followed the instructions on the product page but I wasn't able to get to the point where I could select the Xbox 360 driver (see photos).Also, the adapter refuses to stay in pairing mode if you try to pair too many times it seems. The light will blink once and then go back to being solid.

Outstanding!! As already mentioned from previous reviewers, these instructions are the way! My install was a breeze, and it was nice to be able to use the 360 controllers once again after so many years. Browse my computer for drivers.6. Let me pick from a list...7. Scroll to the bottom and find Xbox devices.8. Choose the Xbox wireless receiver option.9. Done.

I had some old Xbox 360 controller laying around and I figured why not use this for couch party night unfortunately, the controllers don’t support being connected to computers directly through Bluetooth and requires an adapter. This adapter does this. The connection process is a seamless as an Xbox 360 just push the button, then push your controller button then then they will sync. I believe you can sync up as many controllers as this original. Xbox 360 does only use three so far.

It works. I didn't want to shell out over $100 for a guitar controller for my PC, so I took a chance with this adapter so I could play Clone Hero with my Guitar Hero 3 Xbox 360 guitar controller, and it worked.

Works!No latency. Paired with original xbox 360 controller.
