Are these bags safe to cook in eg.boil in the bag

DEFINATELY NOT. I ONLY USE FOR STORING ITEMS OR PUTTING ITEMS IN THE FREEZER.

As they are bpa free, can I use them for sous vide. You can with the proper ziploc name, but they are so expensive

Sorry, I have looked everywhere on the box and cannot find out where these bags were made - but they are very good and definitely worth buying.
