What does a price this high get you? Here's what:
I've been using this rope (the lighter of the two in the power set) for almost 5 months exactly and have been very pleased with it. Has it been worth the initial expense, yes. Will it last forever? No.I'm doing this review because my rope just reached the end of its life. So this is a pretty good assessment of how long of a life you'll get out of one of these under the following conditions:Use Location: OutsideOn a rubber mat: NoOn asphalt: YesFrequency of use 3-4 days a week, 30-60 minutes each.Climate: Dry/HotWhat wore out? The rope. From hitting the asphalt a million timesHow are handles? Great, no issues, lots of life left in them. Are there problems with the bearings? Nope, not at all.I've tried a number of different ropes, and none have lasted me this long. So overall I give this 4/5 stars for simply not lasting 6 months at least. I consider myself a hard/frequent user, so for others who may use it less, or indoors, or on a softer surface, you'll likely get even more life out of one. This is a well made product and I am about to order another rope. Thankfully, rope replacements are only in the ballpark of $38.Do the thing! ;)

Best Jump Ropes EVER!!
Hey Amazon Shoppers,If you are looking for an amazing set of jump ropes, look no further. I have both the Get Lean, and Get Strong Sets from Cross Rope, and they are amazing!!! They never get tangled or funky. Since getting mine I've used them every day and will continue to use them as my preferred cardio session. I highly suggest downloading the Cross Rope app! The work outs are awesome, efficient, and follow a HIIT cardio mind set (AKA: Intense bursts of activity followed by quick rest periods.) The app also has a Learn Section where you can learn new jump rope skills. I know the price tag on each set is $$$$, but they are worth every penny. I watch other people at my gym try and use cheap jump ropes, and can't help but grin (no judgement). They waste time untangling the ropes, spend the rest of the time trying to get a good rhythm, that never seems to happen. If you are new to jumping rope I highly suggest starting with the Get Lean Set, and eventually acquiring the Get Strong Set, or if you are daring and have the funds get the Get Fit Set (if available.) Also ALWAYS WEAR SHOES! These are sturdy ropes, and they sting when they come in contact with bare toes. Happy Jumping!

Lives up to billing
I am a mediocre jump roper who recognizes its benefits. And while some people can seemingly jump rope with shoe laces, I kept having issues with licorice, leather, cable, etc. type of ropes. They worked ok but I always had issues with them kinking. I kept looking at the CrossRopes but could not see paying that much for a jump rope. Realizing that I was spending as much in trying to find a decent rope, I finally bought the CrossRope Get Strong set. And while yes expensive, Holy Cow, what a difference! First and foremost, they do not kink! Not at all! Right from the get go. Secondly, for someone at my level, the heavier ropes make it easier to concentrate on form for when you do use a lighter rope. And third, the heavier ropes really do give you a nice upper body workout at the same time. I can still get up some decent speed with the 1 lb rope and even with the 2 lb, and the 2 lb really works the forearms and shoulders. And while I can't to do double-unders with these heavier guys, I can still do crossovers and most of the footwork I like to do. If you're just looking for a great overall workout, these ropes are so smooth right out of the box and after using lesser ropes, these are comparable to driving a Mercedes. And changing the handles is extremely quick, less than 10 seconds to change both. A word of caution though, wear shoes when using these, because they are heavy and will hurt your toes if hit while barefooted.I later bought the 2 lighter ropes in the Get Lean set, which also do not kink and the handles change just as quickly. These 2 allow for faster jumping if used properly, but I still find myself using he 2 heavier ropes more often just because they just feel smoother and I feel like I get a better and more complete workout. I;ve never jumped better. With some people the rope they use isn't that important, but if you've had problems finding the right rope, and can afford it, I'd highly recommend at least getting the Get Strong set.

The product is well built, but, for what you get, it isn't worth it.
I have been considering buying the CrossRope system for a while now. I do CrossFit so I am no stranger to jumping rope. While the system is a good idea, it is flawed, completely, by the cost. You do not need to drop over $100 for a jump rope. The product is well built, but, for what you get, it isn't worth it. You can, essentially, purchase any weighted jump rope out there (a 1 lbs and a 2 lbs for $10-18 each) and you will have the exact same thing, only it will literally cost you $100 less. The app is fantastic, but the rope system is not worth the price, at all.

Best jump rope ever.
Don’t let the price point scare you. Like many of of you I was a bit hesitant, but after buying multiple jump ropes and having them tangle, fray, or just plain break I finally to the “jump” ;0). And I couldn’t be more happier. I’ve already seen the returns probably two fold since purchasing them. They work great, the fact that you can detach the handles and interchange between the different weighted ropes is a huge plus, and easily transportable. I absolutely love them and would recommend to anyone.

One sluggish handle
I bought the get lean set, and love it. One of the handles I received, with the get strong set, doesn’t have that “endless spin” of the other handles. I normally wouldn’t be as critical, but $135 after tax will force me to return it.

A nice upgrade from the first generation.
I love this product but you have to use gloves.

6ft 4 Crossrope jumper here.
Fantastic quality heavy Crossropes. I have already purchased the lean set prior that I am very happy with, the heavy set is more challenging on your upper and lower body. the handles gives you a more assuring grip hold during workout, I am 6ft 4 and find XL rope size ideal. My gym workout out is 90% cardio and 10% weights. The app you can download free is truly superb. I class myself as a beginner when it comes to Crossrope skipping. THE PRICE. Try telling your spouse or friend that you have spent this amount on a Crossrope and look at the shock look on their face. How much can you actually value your health? I have reduced drinking alcohol, removing unwanted channels on my subscription and other to bring back the deficit of the cost. only bad thing I would say about them...the bag you get to carry the ropes is not strong enough, mine ripped the first day. Cannot wait to use my heavy Crossropes!

A jump rope that will also impress others
Among the other heavy jump ropes of similar quality I've seen online, this is the best value because of the extra rope you get. Handles are well-made and swing well. I would advise anyone buying a Crossrope to always use a training mat, and to wrap the middle in protective tape, as the outside is a thin layer of rubber protecting interwoven steel cables. Bare concrete or asphalt will inevitably wear out any tape and underneath layer, unless you can completely keep the rope off the ground during your workout. Best protect your investment!
