VERY weak structure poor materials all round, all parts were there but missing drill holes.
The hilights!! Looks sturdy, isn't at all. very unfinished. Extremely low to the ground. VERY weak structure poor materials all round, parts are weak, but all parts were there, but missing drill holes!!I was really looking forward to getting this. However I, Much like many others, Am extremely disappointed. With everything put together, it is a very weak rickety bed. if I try to tighten the screws more then they would break the already poor quality of the wood. Some of the wood is stained and sanded and the rest is just straight out the the saw mill. Splinter city! and unvarnished/lacquered. Very very poor quality workmanship and poor quality weak pine.I also found that the holes that are drilled are awful not to mention, there are approximately 30 holes missing, so you have to drill the holes yourself. And if you're like me, you don't just have a spare drill laying around the place! Not a problem though, the wood is so weak that the screws go in without predrilled holes like a knife through butter! This has been a nightmare. You've been warned!

A Gamble That's Paid Off In Spades
It's always a gamble buying something like a bed off the internet without have tried it out. But needs must when you live in the country...Assembly: I did it myself, although I would recommend you have a second person if you can as you need to make the frame all at the same time, and it's hard to keep some of it parting while you try to fit others. I propped bits up to support them and did manage on my own. Otherwise it's a standard fit with bolts going into bolt receivers, dowels and then screw on the sprung slats. Everything was good quality and all holes lined up. I recommend a powered screwdriver, but you could of course do it by hand if you have to.Comfort and Strength: So far it's only me in the bed, which is pretty sad when you come to think of it with a nice King sized bed. Hubby will be joining me soon and he won't mind me saying he's no featherweight. There are no wobbles, creaks or other problems at all. It's very sturdy and very, very comfortable.Look: What can I say? It looks fantastic. Low to the floor, modern, sleek, lovely wood. I have it in a cottage room with bare white walls and waxed oak floorboards and it looks like something from a Home & Garden magazine.Highly recommended and my internet gamble paid off.

Good looking bed ruined by shoddy factory workmanship
The end product is a fine looking bed, solid, and good for the price. But that's the thing, you get what you pay for. So construction is straight forward, in fact easy. Or it would be if the relevant hole had been drilled. So where the right hand side rail meets the foot end there was no hole drilled on the inside, so you couldn't secure it properly. In fact the hole at the foot end was also only about 5mm deep too. Is meant to be about 3/4 inches. Fortunately my mate who helped had a drill and was able to drill a hole and screw in a different improvised replacement - which doesn't match the other side. So I would have been knackered had he not been there. Added to this there is a random paint splash - about 2 inches long - on the same side, support rail. And on the other side there is a chip out of the wood. So without these defects it would have been 5/5 for the price. However let down by the factory workmanship

Heavy duty, good looking frame.
Wanted a simple, strong bed and this fits the bill perfectly. I liked the fact that there were no thin little legs, but low wide legs on each corner and also there are two legs for the central wooden support beam. Went together well. There are no squeaks, no movement and feels like it will last! The headboard is low, as someone mentioned, but we have a memory foam mattress, which is only 10 inches deep (and supportive), so suits this frame well. Supports a combined weight of 32 stones and several dogs..... !

Easiest assembly yet!
Fantastic bed frame, very quick and simple to assemble by yourself, very sturdy and looks great, it is quite low as in the pictures but very well made.Headboard, footboard, 2 pre-assembled side panels a central support with 4 extra feet, and 2 sets of slats bound together with ribbon to give the exact spacing required, all screws and bolts only fit one way, so it's impossible to go wrong!

Although I rated this product highly, before. It is too low to the ground. The headboard can not b seen when the pillows are on the bed. Wish I had looked , more thoroughly for a bed.

I would recommend it!
Love my new bed, really good quality and resistant, beautiful natural colour. It took me nearly 3 hours to assembly it as I did it on my own and have no much experience. I think having an electric screwdriver would have made it so much easier. I gave 4 stars because holes were not well made for some of the big screws ( so I had to literary hand push make them) and the Allen key provided got damaged after a short while and I had to get a new one. Also, each one of the slates have to be screwed at two points and there were no pre-made holes at all, so considering all this, I had a good arm workout that day. Nevertheless, the bed is good and stable and after one week using it, I can say it is very good for the paid price.
