Mine isn't heating the plate nor the wax

Do the lights come on? If it lights up and there is no heat, it sounds like something is wrong in the heating circuit. If there are no lights, it is probably the switch. You are not getting any power to the unit at all.

Mine did the same thing I was wondering why the sent wasn't as strong and then I realized it was stuck up that stretched out and lifting up from the heating plate I ordered something new no more silicone cups for me PS actually I took the silicone cup out and use the heating plate with the wax melts that works perfectly I got my smell back

How long is the cord?

Not extremely long, I needed an extension cord but I also put it up on a top shelf so my cat would not reach it, I'd say maybe 2 ft, there is an off/on switch on the cord also
