Condor Elite - Tidepool Hydration Carrier Black

I was surprised at how good this actually is. Pack is very sturdy with very adjustable straps. The clips that hold the straps to the pack are very stiff right off the bat but get better after a few uses. The hose that comes with it is probably the best piece of the whole thing. It's insolated with a quality foam cover. It has a very nice mouth piece with on/off valve. If damaged, just the tube can be replaced thanks to the quick disconnect at the base of the bladder. Speaking of which, the bladder is the only part I "may" have issues. The plastic is thick and feels sturdy but it's how the bag seals that's a bit strange. There's no cap, it folds into a weird plastic sleeve. Overall it's a great value and I'd definitely recommend if your looking at this type of item.

This Condor item is great. I have it on my vest and will also be attaching it to my Plate Carrier both via MOLLE. It is the perfect size to either be used as a standalone vest or Plate carrier small backpack, or with the bladder it can also carry some small items inside the zip up compartment.Its worth noting that while the bag is black, the bladder and hose are OD green, almost a really dark green. Some people might not care about this, but if you are looking for all black gear , this might be something to keep in mind before you buy. I personally just swapped bladders and put my Camelbak bladder into the condor tidepool bag and it works great. My Camelbak bladder capacity is bigger than the one that comes with the Tidepool , but I just fill it halfway and fold it and it fits well, I even have room for small stuff in there. The hose is kind of long, but I loop that around my vest shoulder strap and inside my vest and works just fine, its actually easier access that way ! The MOLLE works as intended, i can attach a smaller pouch to the back of this bag, maybe even an IFAK if i wanted to place it in the back for any reason. it can work as a standalone backpack, ive yet to use it in that configuration, but given that it works great with my vest/PC and i have some storage room im sure it will work great. Highly recommend this item for anyone running a tac vest or plate carrier with MOLLE setting.

I'll admit, I didn't get this for the use of a hydration carrier. I got it to be a simple jump bag to carry my macbook air and a few other items. The 11 inch macbook air fits in the main compartment very snugly, assuming you don't have anything other than a very thin case on the outer shell. My iPad mini fits in the outer pocket. I attached another condor pouch I had to the straps on the outside to carry the chargers. The shoulder straps are a bit thinner (material thickness, not strap width) than I expected, but still pretty sturdy, as are all the plastic clips and hardware.Most molle slings and day bags are quite bulky on their own, and wouldn't be easy to pack in a larger suitcase/backpack without taking up a lot of space. This one is a very compact package, and you can easily pack it in another suitcase taking up virtually no room. That way you can leave your suitcase in the hotel room/cruise ship stateroom and take something more compact to hold one or two items.

This hydration carrier is sturdy and well made like most Condors products. One of the biggest benefits is that the harness is removable. I do not have a Condor chest rig but was able to easily integrate to my rig by removing the harness and weaving the straps on my rig thru the Condor built in straps - works perfectly.FYI, there seems to be some confusion re the capacity. The Condor website clearly states that it is a 1.5 L (50 oz) bladder. A 3.0 L would be much larger than this unit.

It works… but is probably the most non user friendly design.1) The bladder included is not the one depicted in the advertisement and is an absolute pain to refill.2) The straw is wayyyy too long. Which means the excess has to be hidden in the pack.3) The advertisement makes it look low profile and evenly distributed. it is not. Not even close. You’d never be able to sit in a patrol car with this as it ads an additional 4-5 inches to your back.Will return and look for other options.

Perfect for my lowepro protactic 350. Easily attaches to the molle on my bag. Is perfect as hydration carrier or as my carry-on I put my iPad in there and a book. Great attachment for extra stuff and small enough to just fit the front of my bag.
