Awsome Book!
I bought this book because I've been watching Kevin Ward's Youtube videos for a couple months now. Honestly speaking, I started reading the book, however, once I got to the scripts section and beyond I skimmed through the rest and put it in my bookshelf and didn't look at it till a couple weeks later. I decided to 're-read' the book again from end to end and my only regret is that I didn't buy/read this book sooner!The steps are simple yet powerful and I am completely comfortable using the scripts. So far, I have the listing presentation script memorized and mastered, where it comes out natural and I use it on all my listing appointments. I started calling FSBOs (was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED) and less than a week of calling them I had my first appointment within the first conversation! Usually, you will have to speak with them multiple times before getting the appointment.I have been in real estate for 3 years however, within the past couple of months I decided to take my real estate business seriously. I have gained so much more confidence from the advice, tips, and ideas from this book. Even though I feel like I'm starting from the beginning with my business, this book, plus his videos and my determination (most important) is helping my business grow the right way.-Michelle Rose

“Study it. Practice it. Implement it. Master it.”
I found Kevin Ward through his YouTube videos. After watching several videos, I knew I wanted more of the information he was providing. I added his channel to my saved channels, made a mental note to return to his videos after I passed my real estate exam, and forgot.Once I passed my RE exam, built a web presence, and was ready to launch my career, I knew it was time for training on “How to sell real estate” and “How to get Listings,” so I began my search for information. I read over 20 books utilizing my Amazon Kindle, in order to read them with lightning speed. I knew I needed more, but the coaches out there on the horizon just didn’t feel right for me. I watched many webinars searching for the right fit, until one day I saw Kevin Ward pop up in my Facebook feed. I felt an instant connection, and recognition. I only realized after watching his webinar the next day that he was the coach I found months earlier on YouTube, that I had forgotten about. I did not hesitate to invest in his FX Extreme online course, as I knew from watching the webinar that this was the best fit for me. My main draw was the NO B.S. (NO Gimmicks, tricks, or dishonesty) approach and that he provided scripts for talking with clients - honestly, in my opinion, the single most important valuable item needed to start a career in real estate, is what to say to potential clients, and how to say it.As I started the program, which consists of instructional videos along with supplemental pdf documents for your RE business, I noticed Kevin referring to his book many times. Although he provides the scripts in his FX Extreme course, I wanted to read the book to get a greater insight, and... am I glad I did. I believe that it may be possible for a person to implement the powerful program Kevin is teaching in “The Book of Yes” by learning the provided scripts, practice, and then put it into action within their RE business… BUT honestly, for me… the book is just a great tool to have in addition to the FX Extreme course. It can also be a great way to see if Kevin Ward’s coaching style is for you first... at a much lower cost, before investing more. Great resource for newbies
I like the book and the straight to the point information. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit confusing and hard to follow- like it seemed out of order, but once I got to reading the method a couple of times and understood the method it was easy to grasp. Yes, he throws in his self-promotion and I see how some of people may get annoyed about it. I just glaze over it and move on. I do like how he gives the no-nonsense bs and gives value by actually helping agents, especially newbies like me! I do enjoy his YT videos too!
