Perfect for ice cream cake!
I found a recipe on Pinterest for a Hans solo ice cream cake. It was delicious, and so easy to remove from the pan. My family loved it! It’s not huge, but it still served around a dozen people. I made another one in a regular loaf pan. It was much harder to get out, so the mold was a huge success.

Fun mold for Star Wars fans, but takes some extra effort to get a good looking cake
This is a really big mold. A standard box of cake mix just about fills this thing, but I suggest you do not actually fill it all the way. Because of the depth, the cake tends to overcook at the outer edges while the center stays raw, causing a huge puffy mound in the middle while baking. You need to slice off a significant amount to level out the cake. And while the silicone material releases well, it is not 100% nonstick. The little nooks and crannies of the design are also very difficult to get clean. I bought 2 of these, one to bake the basic cake shape, and the other to use with fondant to get the precise design features. That ends up being the best solution to getting a good-looking Han Solo cake.I haven't use this mold for anything else, such as jell-o or ice cream. If you want to try that out, I suggest you make sure to coat the inside of the mold very well in order to get a clean release, especially with the jell-o.

Cool mold!
I ordered this Han Solo silicone tray, thinking it was the smaller version for ice cubes and chocolate. When in fact this one is Huge in comparison. There's no way this would fit into someone's glass for ice, so I returned it. Other than the fact I wanted ice, It's a really cool mold. Also really well built and good detail from what I could tell.

All these trays are way overpriced
Have not yet had the chance to bake with it, or use it for ice. The item itself looks really good, only 2 small flaws in transfer mold. I seriously doubt they will be noticeable when in use. Comes in a hard plastic bag, with light cardboard shell. Asian import. Quality depends on durability during use, but it looks great so far. Wanted it for probably 5yrs but would never pay the dumb $15 price tag. Happy I bought it for $6.39, & suggest it to others. Wish they were all $5 or less, I would buy each version available.I see many comments on the size resulting in surprise despite the measurements being listed in the description. It is 50% smaller than I expected by their comments.Size is approximately... tall: 1/8th inch smaller than loose leaf paper. wide: 2inches shorter than loose leaf paper.

Fun design
I bought this for a Jello mold for a Star Wars themed birthday party. This worked and looked awesome. For reference this held a 6oz box of jello with a little room left over.

Great mold, BUT...
This is a great mold, except I don't know how practical it is. I used it to make a chocolate Carbonite Solo for our office's Star Wars-themed Christmas party. Weighing in at 4 lbs of dark chocolate it was MASSIVE. Amazingly well detailed, BUT you couldn't really tell because of the dark completion of the chocolate. I went and picked up a spray can of edible food coloring/paint and sprayed it down. The paint was metallic silver, and the dark chocolate underneath was an excellent base to create a weathered look. The results were incredible! Everyone at work was blown away by it but no one wanted to destroy it by eating it haha.Great mold but very limited use.

I bought this thinking it was a silicone cake pan ...
I bought this thinking it was a silicone cake pan. Once I got it, I read all the paperwork that came with it. Nope, just a really big ice cube maker. If I ever have a party with a big punch bowl, I can make this. It shows you can not get near heat, no products with dye can be put in this. Basically just water. Kind of a let down.

Excellent for chocolate
This worked a treat for my daughter's Star Wars birthday party. I filled it with melted chocolate and then, as another reviewer suggested, coated the finished project with a metalic food safe color spray. It was a lot of chocolate and very solid, but a chef's knife soon took care of that. Next time I would fill it with water, and then pour the water into a measuring cup to calculate total capacity. I made an educated guess by stacking Gheridelli bars inside the mold and was a little short on chocolate. Not a big deal, but it made the latches on the sides less sturdy.
