Spigen Thin Fit Nexus 6P Case with Premium Polycarbonate for Nexus 6P 2015 - Gunmetal

First the good. I love the color and the case is quite thin. It looks great on the phone. And if that was it I would wholeheartedly recommend this good looking case, but...Unfortunately, I've had issues with the bottom of the case. On both the left and right bottom corners my first case started demonstrating "stress fractures", small cracks that got slightly bigger day by day until a piece of the plastic fell out. Spigen, demonstrated great customer service and shipped me another case free of charge, but unfortunately I am having the same issue with this new case. I treat my phones very carefully so this isn't a trauma issue. I think it might be a design flaw as due to the usb c cut out on the bottom there is less overall plastic and a thinner lip than the top part of the case and its corners (which has no issues with cracking on either my first or second case.)I have no issue with Spigen as a brand in general and have had other good cases from them, but this doesn't seem to hold up to routine wear for me. I would recommend you get one of their other Nexus 6p case rather than this one.

Build QualityIf you're like me and looking at this case then you hate cases that add too much bulk to your phone? It totally destroys the aesthetics meant by the manufacturer, right?This is the 3rd time I've ordered the Slim case from spigen for 3 different phones. The nexus 5, nexus 6 and now the 6p. And just like the past 2 times it feels great. Doesn't add much bulk at all.The key things you need to know are:-cut outs where you can actually press the phone's buttons, which i love.-raised lip so the screen doesn touch the surface when faced down-has all necessary cutouts for mics and fingerprint sensor-fits very snug-doesn't cover the back glass "visor" where all the sensors and antennas areConclusionThe perfect slim case imo. Go buy it!

My original black case cracked on the bottom due to the extremely tight fit. It definitely was not due to drop damage, the cracks are located at the bottom of the case where it must spread apart slightly to snap onto the phone.This time around, I heated the case with a heat gun prior to putting it on the phone. Hopefully that introduced enough flexibility to allow the case to stretch to fit, rather than crack.I have had the case on my phone for a few weeks now, and it seems to be holding up. If it cracks again, I'll be looking for a different case as a replacement.I also have a set of headphones with a really fat plug, which required me to modify the case with a Dremel tool, making the opening around the headphone jack quite a bit larger. It doesn't affect the integrity of the case when you do that, if you're careful.Update: I'm sad to report that my second case has formed cracks in exactly the same place as the original. My heat gun attempt didn't help. If I were you, I'd look elsewhere for a case. This one does not last very long, even with very light use.

I'm not usually one to have cases on my phone, but when getting the Nexus 6p I knew that it was a must. So, I started to look through amazon for cases that have a thin fit, and I came across this one. For the couple days that I have had this case I have really been liking it, It's very thin but still provides protection against scratches and dings on the Nexus 6 p's aluminum body. I like how the buttons are not covered up because I like the feel of the buttons on the phone, and I hate when case manufactures cover them up with cheap rubber that does not give back that tactile feeling. The fingerprint sensor is perfectly cut out and I have been seeing myself finding it a lot quicker. I also like how I can see that whole "black visor" it looks very symmetrical and still prevents that black panel of glass from being scratched. Other thoughts on the case, I like how the headphone jack is not covered up, I appreciate the length that spigen went through in order to keep the case stylish, and still keeping the beloved look of the Nexus 6p that we all love.Even though this case is near perfect there are still some problems, the one in only being that yes, it does make the phone less slippery, but it's more of a fingerprint magnet then the aluminum, and when your hands get warm from using the phone for an extended time fingerprints, and sweat can build up making the phone look pretty nasty, so I do find myself cleaning the phone case twice a day (which I don't mind.. at the moment.) but overall that was only when I was settings my phone up for like an hour straight so i guess that one might be on me. Overall it's a good , and fairly affordable case for the Nexus 6p, I don't expect it to protect from a 6 foot fall but I really only need it to keep the screen from scratching (being that I usually keep my phone face down at restaurants and stuff), and keeping the aluminum from being damaged.

This is a great case. I like the way my phone feels on its own without a case, but obviously, with such an investment, I wanted some protection for it. The older case I had on it was just one of these cheaper soft plastic ones and was stained just from use all the time. I have had several Spigen cases over the years for a couple different phones. They are always high quality, and do a really good job.This case is just what I expected it to be. The case is a shiny why metallic looking case. It's super thing, but fits really nicely. Also, with it being thing and light weight, it doesn't add too much bulk to the phone. It's light weight, but does seem to add protection. It leaves openings for the volume buttons and buttons to turn off and on the screen.Any Spigen products have always been good for me, and this is not different. This is a great cover and no less than what I expected. I would highly recommend this for your Nexus 6p if you're looking for a good cover that won't add too much bulk or weight to your phone

This really is a very thin fit case and works perfectly for me. I wasn't quite happy with the official Adopted silicone case as it hid every part of the 6P's beautiful aluminium body. The Spigen case adds very little extra bulk. Cases like these are only designed to offer protection against occasional drops, not extreme abuse, so be warned. If you regularly mistreat your phone, please look elsewhere. However, this case offers some protection to the back, corners and sides. It also has a small lip around the edge of the screen, so, if you place the phone face down, the screen glass is protected. The top, bottom and buttons are all exposed in a way I like as it shows off the aluminium body. I like the soft feel finish of the case, but it is prone to greasy finger prints.I also bought the Spigen Magnetic Air Vent Mount and the adhesive metal plate works well with this rigid case.

I had a case made by Spigen for my Nexus 5 that fit like a glove, lasted well over a year, was made out of premium feeling grippy material and was amazingly well priced. Well they've done it again just this time it's even better. I have the slim case and it's just brilliant in every way.The slim profile doesn't spoil the shape of the phone and doesn't add excessive bulk, the materials are lovely and grippy with a nice matte finish, the cutouts are perfectly placed and the price is once again outstanding. Seriously don't even bother looking at anything else.

A good case, blends in nicely with the design of the phone. Indent on the back helps you find the fingerprint reader more easily, cut outs for camera and cables are perfect. There aren't any dirt traps as in some other phone cases I've had.Having owned this for a while now, I'm happy to say that it has protected my phone from numerous drops and bumps. Functionally speaking, it does its job as it should.However, if you support your phone during use with your pinky finger at the bottom, as I do, you will find that the plastic cutout for the charging cable is really rather uncomfortable. It's sharp and it digs in and it is just annoying. It's not like it'll cut you, but it'll get on your nerves after a little while. Maybe I am the only person who holds the phone this way, but it's enough for me to drop a star off the rating.

I've tried several cases for the Nexus 6p, they are always a bit too chunky and spoil the feel of the device. It's already a big enough phone.I ordered the Spoken thin case thinking it covered the entire phone. When I opened it I realised it has a slight gap at the too and bottom lips. I suppose that's my fault for not looking at the photos enough.However the case is very thin and doesn't spoil the feel of the device. I'm not sure how much protection it adds to the top or bottom but it's better than previous cases. It adds a nice mix of feel, protection and design.This is also the only case I could find, apart from the official and pricey Google cases, that don't block the laser autofocus. The opening for camera on the back is nice and wide. Other cases I've tried have always covered the bottom of the autofocus ring. This surely will have an effect on camera performance.All in all a decent product and a very good price. Might not be too everyones taste due to the lack of protection on the top and bottom. If you're like me and don't want to add too much bulk to the phone then it will be a winner.It also fits nicely with my screen protector too.

Great case that served my phone for well over a year. Only gripe that I have with this case was when removing it once it did pull on the panel by the volume buttons and raise this out of the phone slightly, which proved troublesome when replacing my battery later on in the phones life.Otherwise a great case from Spigen as always and provided valuable protection for my phone over its lifespan.
