Worked Perfect For A Non-Professional Wrapper And A Great Price
I read the reviews, and must admit I was hesitant. But, the price difference was so extreme between this and Scotch tape I figured what the heck. Now, to be fair, I am not one of those people who has professional looking packages at Christmas, so purists may not care for it as much. I did note it has to be pressed hard to achieve a, close to, invisible look. Where the paper meets, it can show a bit, but, for me, I do not care.I want 2 things in my tape. It has to stick... AND, probably more important. I have to be able to easily find the beginning and, if not on the dispenser properly and it gets stuck to itself... I need to be able to restart the roll. That is my mindset. Aggravation over shredding, hard to use tape, trumps stickiness.I despise tape that sticks to itself in such a manner that it is near impossible to restart or shreds when you do.This tape did not create any cussable moments, so for that alone I give it 5 stars.I have 1 packaged left unopened now for about a month, and the tape is STILL holding everything together same as the day I wrapped it. I have had no issue with stickiness and have used it to hold paper on to walls and even to anchor a small light strand. Is it "professional" wrapper quality? Probably not. But, for my purposes, this tape is exactly what I look for. Starts easy, is restarted easily, it tears easy, and sticks. I get bananas when my tape shreds, sticks to everything but the paper, falls off... that type of thing. Looks on packages falls beneath those qualities.Oh, it is also forgiving. I had to remove some misplaced tape, and it did not take my wrapping paper with it, yet released gracefully and allowed me to reapply it and still stuck. So, wrapping is by far not my favorite thing to do. But, this tape acted like a champ, and the cost was about half of the other brands, so, I am a very satisfied customer!

Not all tape is created equal!
I use tape at my desk all day long as I'm a comic book collector and I'm always replacing old bags & boards and each one takes 3 pieces of tape. Some tape is literally impossible to tear. Some tape doesn't stick. Some tape is so sticky it's too sticky. But Duck Brand is the only tape I buy now. It costs more than the no-name stuff but it's worth the couple extra bucks. The other stuff isn't worth the hassle. Buy this first and never have to worry. 5 stars in every category!!

Good, cheap "not quite invisible" tape
This is a review for Duck Brand Invisible Matte Finish Acetate Tape.Ok folks. This is tape! It's sticky on one side, and its not sticky on the other. It comes with this cool tape tearing off thing that allows you to control how much tape you have at once! And, it's cheap. Its got everything going for it. I can't give it five starts though, because it is tape and it doesn't have Spider-Man on it. If they could figure out how to put Spider-Man on it, maybe even just the box, it'd get five stars. One serious question though I have. Very serious. If it is invisible, does it matter if it has a matte finish or glossy finish? I would think being invisible one would not be able to see what type of finish it has. Further, if it is invisible, how do you know where the tape actually is to remove it from the tape dispenser? Seems to me invisible would not be the ideal type of tape, unless you are Spider-Man and can sense its location using your Spidey sense.I would like to clear this issue up for the next person that purchases the Duck Brand Invisible Matte Finish Acetate Tape. It really is NOT invisible. I am looking at the tape right now and I can see it. Yes, it is clear, but I can see it!!! At just a slight angle, I can actually see the tape. False advertising? Perhaps. It does have a matte finish to it though, so maybe only half false advertising. Now that I've resolved that issue, one last note. I will buy this product again and again. Its cheap and does the job.

Works well.
These refill rolls were a good, reasonably priced option for my dispenser. They fit well, dispense smoothly, and holds as it should. This was a “perk-free” review.

Impossible to use
Absolutely crumbles and adheres to itself as one solid block. Cannot start nor access the roll as the tape sticks to itself on the roll. Finally after using a cutter and cutting through a number of layers, I could pull off that 5 layer thick strip then it immediately started shredding again once I got it onto the dispenser. Worst tape I've ever tried. I very seldom do reviews but this was very frustrating on Christmas morning, as I started trying to wrap gifts. Impossible to use.

It's basic tape
I hope it will fill my tape dispenser. Like I said it's just basics tape.
