Eye Saver
I do a lot of outside manual labor during the spring, summer, and fall and my hat brim becomes so overwhelmed with sweat that it drips into my eyes. Not ideal when operating a chainsaw, mower, or swinging an axe/hammer. This band works incredibly well. You can literally feel the sweat down your forehead and then magically dripping away to the side, keeping your eyes free and clear. An added bonus is that it fits perfectly and inconspicuously under my hat. Absolutely perfect solution!

Make sure to align the edges beyond your eyes
Fits well. Great for long runs

For Bald People, An Absolute Must Have!
I never realized how much of a problem sweat was for bald people. I still recommend this for people with hair, but you may not have as much of a need for it as I did.The band works as advertised. Some people complained about the sweat build-up, and eventually coming out of the collection gutter, but for me, it always ran off the sides as intended, and not onto my face. It was oddly satisfying feeling it finally release down the side and not into my eyeballs. The band is comfortable, and sits on my forhead wherever I need it too without adjusting the size at all.The only drawback I experienced was that quite simply, it's additional headwear. This is an FYI to the customer, not a drawback of the band itself. For me though, using it to mountain bike, it is competing with my bike helmet, headphones, and glasses. It is however a pivotal piece and I will not work-out or do any sweat inducing activity without my GUTR band going forward. The value it brings for the price is shocking. I would recommend this to anyone that sweats.

Works great.
It works great at keeping sweat out of my eyes and I don't have to bother with it getting soaked.

Good, not great
Somewhat does what it’s supposed to do. Definitely drains sweat away from your eyes but, it also pools up in the channel and on your forehead which led to (for me) and instant acne breakout after using it only one. As a mountain biker, this did come in kinda clutch tho. Good product. Pros and cons to it tho.

Love it for those face melting days and indoor training
Bought this not wanting to invest in single use strips. It works great and doesn't get heavy and soaked like a fabric sweatband would. My eyes stay clear of stinging sweat and I don't have to continually wipe my face during indoor training sessions. Like new 5 years later. Just throw it in the wash and hang to dry.

Big improvement over a sweat band, with some opportunities for improvement
I'm a runner, and this Gutr works far better than a sweat band, which quickly saturates and loses usefulness after 20 minutes. There's no saturation to worry about with the Gutr. Much better than carrying a half-dozen sweat bands to swap out every 15 minutes. The version I received does not match the photos; I suspect this is v2. Where the first version has velcro and an O-ring, mine has an adjustable elastic strap (as seen on the Gutr website).I have a medium-size head (think of a typical strap-back trucker hat: mine has all the pegs lined up with all the holes) and I have to have this head band at near its maximum size. So if you have a huge head, this might not fit without some modifications. The trick is to get it to juuust big enough to hold the gutter part flush against your forehead so that it can catch all the sweat, but no tighter as that might give you a headache once the blood is pumping.I'm a little worried that the elastic strap may wear out before the rest of it. But it's still early, so we'll see. While it seemed to prevent any sweat from my forehead getting into my eyes or glasses, it of course can't do anything about eyebrow sweat. Still, a ~90% reduction of sweat to worry about is a win!I think for v3, it would be nice if there was an extra inch on either side of the gutter, so that the ends don't empty over the edge of the eye sockets and instead empty further back to the temples. Not that it seemed to be too much of a problem.All-in-all, very good; would recommend!

Ultimate? - Yes
Have tried numerous head bands over the years and the Gutr is the best by far. It is basically a thin rubber like strap with a lip (gutter) that catches sweat running off your forehead and channels it down the sides of your face so that it does not get in your eyes.It is very light weight and has a low profile. It is thin all the way around and not wider than your smallest finger. This combination is a must have for cyclists because it also does not interfere with your helmet. It attaches in the back with a simple pony tail style rubber band and velcro adjustment for a custom fit.Because they are not made of fabric they don't saturate with sweat - meaning that if you sweat a lot or exercise for a long period - it still functions without dripping in your eyes later on. (I have some head bands made of wicking material that I really like but even they quit working for me after a long work out.) You also don't have to wash this head band - just rinse it off.Minor drawbacks are that you can't easily adjust the fit while exercising. The trick is to get it where you like it and leave it that way. When you first try it you want to make it overly tight but you'll discover that it stays put - without needing a lot of tension - too much tension just causes a headache. If you're a cyclist you will probably want to loosen your helment band to acommodate the strap underneath the back of your helmet as well - if you don't the band will rest uncomfortably on your ears after a long ride.
