Xeno Shinzi Katoh Monpeluche, 0.38mm, Slim Ballpoint Pen, Blue (Pack of 12)

If you love smooth writing and writing as tiny as possible, these are for you. Was addicted to Japanese FriXion .38's, but was worried the ink was disappearing in the summer. These are just as smooth and quite a bit more affordable. They last longer too: long enough that I lose them before I run out of ink. I can get tinier writing with these compared to the FriXion, crisper lines. Doesn't perform as well for writing at 90 degrees or upside down, but PURE pleasure in writing. Lovely blue.I refuse to write with anything else anymore. (No, I'm not paid. Just enthusiastic about script and these pens in particular. If Monpeluche reps are reading, I would gladly try out other products for you!)

I just love how skinny these pens are and how fine they write. They are smooth rolling and write well. I think I have definitely found my new favorite pen maker!

Writes super fine. Great when I have to do long calculations or label a diagram.

I really like this pen. O, it's perfect for my planner/calendar where I prefer to write small. And for a very fine line, it writes so smoothly. However, the blue is not a true blue color. It looks more like a darker lilac. That's the reason for the 4 star rating versus 5 star.

I love these pens because they are so cute but also because they are thin which is easier for me to use. It’s hard to find .38 ball point pens locally so I’m happy I found these. The ink color is that of a normal blue ball point pen, I remember reading a review that said otherwise which made me nervous but glad the pens I received weren’t like that.

Pens last a long time and write really well. However, it is hard to take notes with them because they are not comfortable to use. The diameter of the pen is so small that it can cause pain when writing if you have small hands. You have to apply some pressure to write with them.

Love the fine point on these pens. Only minor drawback would be that they are kind of cutesy for an adult to use in a business situation. So far I love the way they write.
