Awesome kit, just in time for Chinese New Year!
I was skeptical at first because I didn't see any reviews yet. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how great this kit is and a lot is packed in a small box (wood, pattern, instructions, templates, three modeling tools, clay, light kit, accessories such as dog, lanterns, trees, etc, the manufacturer thought of everything). The wood is die-cut, sturdy and high quality materials. The patterns for the house are artistic, easy to use, easy to cut. The instructions are bilingual in Chinese and English, super simple and easy to follow. There is a special page providing the scale for the size of clay to make the bao buns. I have used a lot of miniature kits and this is the best I've ever seen. Totally recommend for both novice and experienced miniature makers, especially Chinese New Year is coming up soon, perfect timing for making a house of dim sum.

Turned out cute! 😊 But I’m docking one star because it was not exactly as pictured, the dog and the flowers weren’t the same as what was shown

Super fun!!
This one was fun and relatively easy. The instructions are short and concise, but it has everything you need to know (even if you can’t read Chinese). The part where you make the buns was fun. I haven’t came across a model like this yet! Highly recommend it!!

Great, No Dust Covers though
Great! I wish it came with acrylic dust covers though, because now it’s just going to sit on my shelf collecting dust. Other than that, it’s awesome!
