With Amazon's return policy being so good, I really wasn't worried about the few crazy reviews! We have NEVER had ANY issues with these filters for our G.E. FRIDGE! They ALWAYS FIT, THEY ARE NOT FAKE! The ALWAYS arrive COMPLETELY IN WELL SEALED, NO BOXES OPENED! THEY ALWAYS WORK PERFECTLY! They are a few dollars less than at the store! Just make sure YOU order the exact one for YOUR fridge! Our Fridges are QUITE EXPENSIVE, SO YES the filters ARE PRICEY! They don't make cheap filters to go in a $2600.00 - $3500.00 Fridge! Think about it! Our faucet water is awful tasting! Even our dogs drink filtered water, and I cook with the filtered water! We both are water drinkers in our home, so our filters last about 4.5 - 6 months at most. Which is average for 2 + dogs and cooking.

This water filter works good and lasts me like clockwork for 6 months. I’ve been using the same filter ever since I got my refrigerator about 5 years ago and I’ve never had any issues with the filter. The only issue I have is getting the old filter out and the new one in which is not the fault of this filter because honestly I’m not mechanically inclined. I watch YouTube videos and then I’m able to install it. I also took a picture of how the filter is supposed to look when it’s installed so I can try to install the new one identically. The directions are good the water color comes out brown initially until it rinses through and there is never any leakage noted. The filter works great with my GE refrigerator.

These are a bit pricey but we’ve never had an issue using the genuine GE replacement filters.
