Fixed large leak on 02 2500hd
Fixed big leak on my 02 2500hd . Make sure everything is SUPER clean, and lubed before installing . I was able to leave the unit bolted to the firewall, while removing the front half only . Back on the road leak free .

Worked great for 3 weeks
Installation went smoothly. No rough spots on the piston, but the seal is suddenly leaking again after 3 weeks of use.Going to try another brand, and do the job again.

It worked
Fixed the hydro boost leak on my 06 suburban. I only needed the one lip seal. Saw a lot of people complaining that there's leaked after repair. Mine leaked a couple drops when I first ran the truck but stopped itselft quickly thereafter. Make sure when installing you keep everything surgically clean. Also lube the lip seal up before install and make sure you put the lips in the right direction, towards the fluid side.

Great quality for low price!
I bought this skeptical how it would hold up for the low price but ended up with great results. I had a major leak on my hydroboost on a 2000 dodge cummins and the kit was simple to install. It has been about a month since installed and hasn’t leaked a drop. Very satisfied how it held up!

Good Quality.
If your issue is only leaking inside the firewall compartment from the booster cylinder this will fix your problem.

Leaked again
Replaced the seal and ran it for two weeks. The leak is back but not as bad. Will be riding another kits from someone else to try again.

Worked for a little while, leaking again
Worked for a few weeks then it started to leak again but even worse than the initial leak!!! Trying a different kit... trying to avoid the $400 replacement part but this didn't work at all!!!

Great alternative to replacing the complete hydro boost unit!
First of all, this does require a little mechanical savvy to complete. After depressurizing the unit, dissassembly is only splitting the case halves and installing the seal kit. If you do this repair multiple times and get familiar with the design, you don't even need to remove the whole unit from the vehicle.
