Very good product , excellent price for an imported item. They were moist and chewy and spiced perfectly. Very fresh , perfect size for snacking and a good gift for someone that likes gingerbread

Every year I look for these cookies and every year they are sold out by December!! I bought 5 packs this year. 1 for me and 1 for each of my neighbors as a holiday gift. Since it is nearly impossible to get these cookies at any other time of the year, they are amazing to taste each time. The Pfeffernusse is melt in your mouth good, the Gingerbread cookies have just the right ratio of nuts and fruits and the Allerlei are like tiny doughnuts, iced perfectly. Big enough to take 2 bites if wanted yet small enough to just eat all at once. I usually spend time looking at all the wonderful shapes in the beginning only to just pop each one in my mouth by the end. Also, with the size of each package, it is difficult to just sit and eat one all at once. They are great for sharing or eating over multiple days. I will be back again next year!

I spent part of my childhood growing up in Germany and I wanted to share the same experience with my own kids by giving them a taste of this product. They loved it! It was fresh and tasted great. A huge win for the holidays!

I was reluctant to buy at first, cuz it seemed a bit pricy, but its got three separate packages of three styles of Lebkuchen. Compared to buying in local store, the cost is about the same. what I didn't expect is how fresh it is. perfect, tasty, cures my homesickness a little.

So soft and delicious!! I love the glazed ones. They just melt in your mouth. Some of my new favorite cookies!! Just a little pricey in my opinion.

People need to remember these are baked in GERMANY which is 5641 miles from California if you live here, so about 2200 if you are on the East Coast of New England or South Carolina, etc. So...A little stale is to be expected. Even by plane in December its 24-36 or more hours of cold, icy flying weather to get them here, assuming they CAN fly and aren't grounded waiting for a de-iced runway 3 or 4 times enroute, if ordered from there. By Amazon sellers its likely they preordered these three months ago, got them 40 days ago to sell/offer, so...that's pretty good. Europeans don't put much if any preservatives in their foods so yes, they are a bit stale but as they are sold fresh baked, and the time involved to get them here, I would be happy eating them again.

These cookies are very good and well packaged. Family really enjoyed them.

Just got back from the Christmas Markets in Germany and was thrilled to see Wicklein Gingerbread available on Amazon! However, except for the stars, these were a total miss. The large cookies felt/tasted like there was parchment or some other paper on top of the icing, but that was just the icing. Yuck. Even my husband who will literally eat anything advised we should throw them out. Again, the stars were OK and you can buy those separately. Would not recommend this variety pack if you are looking for Nuremburg-licious gingerbread.
