Is this the same as the pro version?

The pro has a different surface. Hair sticks to this one. It does not have a charge LED. It is similar for the most part the same size etc.

What is the difference between this (79608) and one with chrome and black lithi ion pro (79600)?

They are basically the same. Both run for 2 hours, self sharpening blades and cordless. The pro has 10 mins quick charge compared to 15mins quick charge on the other, for quick use. The pro come with a little more accessories, nothing to talk about.

It certainly isn’t submersible if that’s what you’re talking about. I also wouldn’t recommend rinsing the cutter under a tap - just use the supplied brush to clean and oil before each use.
