Terrible sensitivity!! Someone can open your door, get in, close the door and it WILL NOT alarm! If they get in and SLAM the door closed, it will work then. It needs to be within 3 feet to actually work! I know, I've tried it! Junk! I will say, the remote works well [within about 6 feet] and the alarm is quite loud!

The alarm is quite sensitive. Whether or not it will go off if someone moves your side mirror depends on where you place the alarm and how strong their movement of the mirror may be.. I put mine in the side pocket on the driver's door. It will go off if someone opens the rear hatch door, also if someone rattles the front door latches. It was well worth the $ and I would quickly buy another.
