The Hamilton Collection Precious Moments The Princess Bride As You Wish Figurine with Buttercup and Westley

This is one of the cutest Precious Moments figurines I have ever come across. I'm a HUGE princess bride fan as well, so over all I'm in love with is purchase.HOWEVER, potential buyers need to be aware of a couple of things before forking over this kinda cash:*The paint job on Westley's clothing is a little sloppy. His black sleeve bleeds over onto half of Buttercup's sleeve (where their arms are clasped). Yes, it IS noticeable. The black on his boots also bleeds onto the base in one area.*There is also no box, which is strange for Precious Moments. All PM figurines usually come boxed. As another reviewer pointed out, this came packed in a styrofoam block, no box to be found. This isn't a deal-breaker for me because I don't plan on ever reselling mine, but collectors that have the goal of reselling someday (when the figurine has gone up in value) might want to be aware that the lack of box could be problematic.So, is this figurine adorable? Does it look nice displayed in my home? Yes and yes! Do I think the quality justifies the $100 price tag (plus $13 shipping)? Not really. With the paint being less than perfect it should have cost no more than $50 IMO.However, it's so cute that I don't necessarily hate that I spent the money, it's just not a $100+ value.

Happy wife=Happy life.My wife is a huge Princess Bride fan and I guess so is The Hamilton Collection. There's not too many things that reference the movie, but when I saw this, they just had to take my money. It just shipped in a styrofoam box and I was hoping that there would be more protection, but Wesley and Princess Buttercup came out unscathed. No R.O.U.S were harmed in it's creation.

wife was pleasantly surprised when she opened the Styrofoam and found this keepsake inside! we are huge fans of this movie and the song was even used in our wedding. it was well protected and looks just like the pictures. it came with a certificate as these are limited run items. buy it if you're a fan for the collector in your life!

My favorite movie made into a wonderful cake topper. All the designs and detail expected in a Precious Moments. Love this keepsake

I love The Princess Bride and was thrilled to find this figurine. This is adorable and could work well for a wedding venue or just as a collectors item! It comes packaged in just the Styrofoam "box," but it is very thick packaging.
