Liquid Fence won't just keep Deer and Rabbits out of your garden; it will keep every kind of animal with a nose out of your garden. In fact, YOU may want to avoid your garden after using it, because it absolutely reeks.The ingredients include "Putrescent Egg Solids" (and some Garlic), but that doesn't seem like a sufficient explanation for the foul and horrid stench that comes off this stuff. It brings to mind much nastier things, like rotting fish, or vomit, or skunks… or maybe the Devil's sweaty underwear after a long day of torturing sinners. I mean, seriously, it is the most sickening thing you are likely to ever smell.That is exactly why it works so well, though. No sane animal will want to go anywhere near your garden after you use this.For the best results, use these dry granules at first, when your plants are still relatively low to the ground. But then when they start to get bigger, use the actual *liquid* Liquid Fence, so you can mist it all over the leaves. (And be sure to always spray downwind from yourself, because you do NOT want the stuff blowing back into your face.)Also, note that your money will go further if you buy the concentrate version, and mix it yourself. Just avoid breathing through your nose while you do it, and be aware that whatever spray bottle you use will forever be contaminated with the stench.

Should have trusted the negative reviews. This product did absolutely nothing in terms of its ability to repel rabbits. Used the entire container over a frequent weekly basis, including after any rainfall. Beyond the initial stink of the product, it has done nothing more than welcome even more bunnies into my garden where they continue to nibble on some expensive ornamental evergreens. You're better off with a Havahart animal trap and relocating the infernal creatures miles and miles away from your home...

I’m a repeat buyer. Deer and rabbits love the tasty and tender leaves of my climbing rose. I needed something to deter them. I pour this in a circle around my rose and its trellis, and it works to stop them from eating it. If it rains too much and washes away I reapply. It does smell horrible though, but I believe that is the point.

This liquid deer repellent works well until it rains, for deer, but not for rabbits. The granular type of the product does not work.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. The bunnies munched all the leaves off the Asiatic Lily after applying this almost daily.

I have been using Liquid Fence Granular for several months now. To put it mildly..THIS WORKS SUPERBLY. Liquid Fence Granular is especially effective when it rains, and my oh my, this year we have had our share of rain. It REALLY saved our plants and trained rabbits and deer to stay away from our property.We have plenty of ground cover rabbits and deer LOVE to munch on. This has been our go to when rains are expected and have decided to just keep it down constantly during the cooler seasons. This is the second time we have ordered this and are extremely pleased with both products by Liquid Fence, (the concentrate and the granular). The ONLY negative is that both products are expensive, however, our results have been stellar!We have tried various other rabbit and deer repellents but NOTHING compares to Liquid Fence products. We do have a very large rabbit and deer population in our neighborhood.The granular gives us a huge breather without the need for repeated applications, as it does last a while. Also as an added bonus, the granular is so very easy to apply and doesn't take much effort or time. We do find if a plant has tall stems, it is best to use Liquid Fence Concentrate along with the Liquid Fence Granular assuring us of positive results 100%. Honestly, unbelievable...TRULY! Once again, THANK YOU Liquid Fence, just wish your product was a tad less expensive. I don't hesitate recommending this product!! It's SUPERB!

THIS STUFF WORKS, if used according to the directions and regularly. It has protected my lilies, habiscus and hostas from the deer. I spray every evening unless it is raining, because the rain does wash it away. The evening is when the deer graze in my flower gardens.Those reviewers who want to whine and carry-on about how smelly it is aren't true gardeners. Lots of garden products have an odor. This one is no worse than others and not as bad as most. After all, it is the scent that repels the deer. This product works much better than any of the others I have tried.

We have a rabbit problem- we have caught and rehomed 6 now. Decided to try this to keep them out of my garden and it does NOT work for rabbits. In fact the most recent rabbit caught jumped on the actual product to get to the cage. It does appear to work for deer as I put it in the front where the deer were eating my hostas and so far, they have not returned.
