Monoi Tiare TahitiMonoi Tipanie Plumeria, 4 Fluid Ounce

I loved this product all natural and a great price and nice scent!For all those who say there is something black growing inside the bottle there isn't you need to run the bottle under hot water and take a look like I did, it's just a flower that they use to make the product that's how natural it is they leave pieces of the flowers inside the oil. See my photos.1 photo was taken when it is white and thick and shows the oil before I ran it under hot water and yes it looks like something black is growing inside it but, I took the rest of photos after I ran my bottle under hot water and it revealed that what looked like something black growing inside the bottle was actually a dark purple flower inside the bottle complete with it's green stem. Coconut oil when not warmed to a certian tempature is a little more solid, again this validates how natural the product is, they use all natural coconut oil. For this reason I will definitely buy more and try a different scent as well.

I really like this scent a lot. I have the original, vanilla, and ylang ylang and I love them all. But the this and the original tiare get used the most. I really like this scent because it's easy to layer fragrance or I can just wear it alone. I love using this on my hair it's become so much stronger. It even seals my split ends till I can trim them. I have waist length hair and I use this as a pre wash and I use a little when my hairs really wet and run it through the ends. I do not use it on my scalp unless I'm doing a deep treatment. My hair feels and looks so much better.Also coconut oil can penetrate the hair follicles which is excellent as I love the results it gives me. I even use it in my boyfriends hair and it looks so soft, shiny, and a little thicker I think. As a body moisturizer I use it all the time and my skin is beyond normal soft. It's like a whole different world of soft. I don't mind the plastic but would prefer glass as Monoi ages better in glass. I'm thinking of switching my oil to glass bottles. I really recommend this oil. The scent is so yummy and tropical but subtle and a touch of sweet. Perfect, love!

First got this as a gift over 20 years ago, and loved the scent and results, and have been using it ever since. There is nothing else like it.I like it because it's natural and easy to apply (it is a liquid at temperatures above 70 degrees, but hardens when it's cooler; to liquify it, run the bottle under warm water).For me, it is a must when I'm out in the sun. It moisturizes the skin, and can be applied with additional sun protection products to prevent a burn. If you're flying to a beach destination, do put the bottle in extra plastic baggies, just in case the cap loosens (this sometimes happens when products expand and contract with temperature changes in flight).I apply this product in a thin layer on my hair before I'm going to shampoo--sometimes leaving it in overnight. And I also use it on my hair at the beach. There's a shampoo in this family of products, just fyi.It's great after showering. But it is an oil, so either apply a very thin layer, or wait until it has soaked in to put on your good clothing.

Plumeria is my favorite scent in the world, so I was excited to try this. It smells really nice, tropical and floral, but not like the leis I so adore. That said, I've used 3/4ths of the bottle, which is rare for me (I am a shameless product junkie...). It's really great for hair, I put it just on the ends and then comb to distribute it. The stuff makes your hair so silky and fragrant, it's hard not to use too much (and make it too greasy).And as others have mentioned, this stuff is solid at room temperature. That's what coconut oil does. Letting it sit in a sink of warm water helps, or just keep it in the shower, where it'll get warm all by it self. I actually melted it, mixed in some plain body oil (macadamia/grapeseed based), and put it in a squeeze bottle. Now it's easier to use, you can squeeze it out of the bottle, like a thick lotion.Will be repurchasing, but probably gonna try one of the other scents next.

so I really wanted to try this scent because I LOVE the smell of plumeria but I was greatly disappointed by the smell. It smelled musty and I could barely smell any plumeria in it. In all honesty, this is something my grandmother would wear. I really had high hopes for this product. I think I will stick to purchasing the vanilla scent in the future because that one definitely smells better.

I was so excited to try this! I will say the ingredients are misleading. I ordered the plumeria one since i love the smell of them and they just gave me the general Tiare one. Im not sure why they have different options if they just send the same one that smells nothing like the plumeria. It says in one part of the website that it is coconut oil and plumeria and in another area of the amazon page it has different ingredients. Besides for that, it is a beautiful product and smells like gardenia and perfume. Its pretty small but very pretty and authentic :). I still would recommend it. Shipping was pretty quick

The scent is my only issue. It’s not a bad floral but it just happens to be something that triggers migraines for me personally. Other people may love it. Giving the product 5 stars because the morning after applying this post-shower, my skin was CLEARLY very moisturized and soft. I may try another scent later but I will be passing the remaining bottle off to a friend for them to try.
