Angelus Black Acrylic Leather Paint works fab
This is a review of Angelus Black Acrylic Leather Paint. I bought it to paint the white soles on a pair of black shoes. I do not care for white soles when I am going out to a nice place. An all-black shoe looks dressier, in my opinion. The jar came well-wrapped, with no leakage. I applied it with a small sponge brush, and it covered the white completely with one coat. The directions state that it can be used on materials other than leather. It is a true black and dries to a glossy finish. It was very easy to use—I did a second pair in no time at all. I have worn the shoes a number of times now and there is no chipping or scratches. I think this is a very good product.

Restore leather like a pro
I originally bought this product to restore the steering wheel on my 2011 Honda Pilot. I remove any sun damage then refinish the wheel with this product. Matches perfectly and it's very durable. Besides a couple of steering wheels, I've restored some badly scuffed Keen leather shoes. Once again, the results are perfect and very durable.I LIGHTLY, but evenly sand the surface with wet/dry sandpaper 1000 grit or finer if the surface is badly damaged. If it's not too bad, I dry sand. If it's really bad, I wet sand. Be sure to clean the shoes well and let them dry thoroughly before applying this paint. If the surface isn't too bad, a good cleaning is all you need. After sanding and cleaning, I apply this paint with a small square of clean foam. A piece of cloth would do, but the foam makes it easy to get into difficult to reach areas. Dab it on for a uniform finish. Does a great job and holds up very well. Seems pricey for 1 oz, but a little goes a long way if you dab it on with foam, and it's a quality product.

stays put, love it
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Impressive Durability and Vibrant ColorThis leather paint is excellent—highly durable with a bold, vibrant orange color that really stands out. I originally used it on a pair of shoes that I wear often, and over a year later, the paint is still holding up beautifully with no noticeable fading or peeling.I also used it to paint a small leather seat cushion from white to orange, and it worked perfectly . Whether for fashion or furniture, this product delivers great results and lasting quality. Highly recommend!

Quick and Easy
It colored well on my scratched heels. Used one coat, it covered good. It looks like dark brown but it is black. It’s light weight small bottle but for quick fixes it works. I used a small make up brush that I never used, it settled very easy on the shoe less than 1 minute to do.

Very nice but darker than the photos ☹️
Works well and was to use. It’s my first time using leather paint, and I use used pieces of those sponges that come on a stick. It might be easier with a different type of sponge, but I don’t know. I wish the color was a bit lighter though. It looks very light in the image, but it’s actually more of a carnation pink, I would say.

Rich color and easy to use
Unbelievably great! I bought it to dye some white pleather for a costume and was impressed by the results. It only needed two applications to achieve the color depth I desired and dried quickly. The material also remained very supple. Would definitely buy again

Great product!
Angelus is the best leather paint out there that I have used and I tried a few cheaper brands before buying this but was glad when I did. The red has great coverage and a little went along way. Was able to paint an entire arm on a leather jacket with 2 coats and had a nice shiny sheen and great even coverage with under 2 oz. used. Will definitely be buying more colors in the future. This should be your go to for leather paint.

Nice product
I used this on a shoe repair mixed with the Angelus tear mender. It's a very nice paint and it covers well. I plan on using it to cover some scuffs on other shoes. I've used Angelus paints to color shoes before and I keep returning to it because it works so well. I've never had it chip off which is also a plus.
