Well-designed, excellent results
Man, this thing makes yard work a lot easier! I ordered the Trimmer Plus GC720 Garden Cultivator Attachment from Amazon based on its good reviews and reasonable price. I’d seen similar items at the big box stores for much more. I am using this as an attachment to my Greenworks 40V String Trimmer (which I have also reviewed).I was just a bit skeptical that this would actually work well with the Greenworks as I just wasn’t sure it would be powerful enough to propel the cultivator. Well, it is amazingly powerful enough, so don’t worry if you have a similar situation. Just be sure your drive shaft connector is the square type. The Trimmer Plus is actually quite heavy in a very good way. It is well-designed and manufactured and promises to provide years of dependable service based on my perception of its heftiness. It is also quite a bit larger in width and depth than I had imagined - nothing wimpy about it. Of course its weight is a plus because you want it heavy enough to dig deep into the ground and stay there and do its job, not just scratch the surface. In my hard clay yard, I am able to dig with ease and with the addition of compost and other soil conditioners I am able to build wonderful beds for flowers and vegetables in very short order. Previously, I would do this with shovel and wheelbarrow, making suitable planting beds one laboriously wheelbarrow-full at a time. Now, everything gets thrown onto the ground and cultivated properly in a fraction of the time with much less effort and far greater results.I’m very happy with this product and I highly recommend it for its design, ease of use, and compatibility with so many existing gas and electric powered products. And if you’ve been using a shovel and wheelbarrow you will most definitely appreciate how quickly and completely the Trimmer Plus does the job.

Good Value
I have a couple different power heads that I use this on. Both electric; one corded, the other a Ryobi 40V battery unit. Works great with both. It worked good on my Cub Cadet gas unit, IF I could get it started! (Thus, the Ryobi!)

Good for a home gardener.
I knew this wouldn't be a regular tiller; I had high expectations, and they weren't exactly met. Since some people want to deport all the immigrants, I realized that if I want fresh produce in the future, I may have to start growing it myself. My yard is heavy clay, and so tilling it in general is going to be difficult, even with one of the big ones.To build my garden, I used landscaping paper to sunlight deprive the grass for two weeks. After that, I mowed it on my mower's lowest setting. my first pass with the tiller (shown in images) was not the greatest, and root matter was still prevalent. I rotated a quarter turn and did a second pass. Then I took a break; I was very tired, and I had to get my weight belt to continue. I spread a bag of peat moss (3 cubic feet) and made two more passes, rotating a quarter after each, to make sure I got it from each direction.Basically, I made up for the lack of muscle in the tool by using my own muscle. I am a 32 year old man with thick clay soil, and it wore me out. Judge me as you will I just want to provide a basis for comparison. If you don't have the muscle, and your yard is rough, this may not be the tool for you.Dollar for dollar, it was a good investment for me. I found that giving it an angle before putting it in the soil also helped.

Far better than expected
Was a bit skeptical about this item as I read others complain that it did not till well or that any debris tended to break the plastic protection housing. Some have also indicated the tines bend easily. Having used full sized rotor tillers from Craftsman and Troy-Bilt in the past, I did have some experience in how not to attack the area I was tilling. I was quite shocked and pleased at how well it attacked the area! Having a 27cc trimmer head, this unit dug in like a full size machine and ground the soil wonderfully. This unit requires you work backwards in the area being tilled so the tines dig into the soil. This is opposite of the full size tillers. Trying to till forward with this unit will not attack the ground and the head will bounce around on the ground a lot, so don't do it! It pulled rocks to the surface so you need to be cautious in how fast and hard you apply the head to the work area. I tilled an area about 30x20 feet working in all directions with ease. Cleaning the unit was quite easy since the tines are held on by self locking Lynch pins. Simply pull the pins and slide the tines off to clean the shafts; takes less than 5 minutes.

Surprisingly strong!
We rented a big rototiller for the day to break up soil for a garden, and bought this little unit for the regular cultivating work. Imagine my surprise that this accessory, when added to my gas-weedeater motor, can do a significant job on its own! I have since used it to till in soil amendments and it is heavy enough to dig into the dirt and not bounce around. The tiller head balances perfectly on the motor unit, and is manageable for one person to use. A great buy, and a great tool!

For what it's meant to do, it's a five star product.
I bought this to put it on a husqvarna 128ld I bought on Amazon, to clear some yard space for a 6x8 greenhouse and some space for some raised beds. I bought it knowing it wasn't going to do the job the old 4-stroke tiller did on the farm back home, but was very surprised at how well a job it did at tearing up sod and river rock out of my back yard.My goal was to use it to till up some topsoil from my yard to set my greenhouse, then to use it to cultivate that tilled soil in raised beds. I'm pretty sure it's up tot he task and the price was right. To those that mentioned that it takes alot of physical effort to use this to till, yes it does. You do need to be stout and healthy, but you don't need to be a muscle man, you just need to be willing to hold a skipping and jumping rod.

Not a universal item.
Bought to use with my stihl trimmer that I can put different attachments on. Don't know what it would work on.
