I barbecue very frequently. The greatest frustration in the world of barbecuing is to have a steak or a chicken breast turn out dry or too rare. What a disaster when everyone is sitting at the table and something has to be put back on the grill or it is like shoe leather. These little thermometers are a lifesaver. I don’t put them in right away I put them in after the meat has been on the grill and has been seared. Then I put them in and I pay attention and they work amazingly. They are super easy to wash by hand.
