Dartington Crystal ST2734/3 - Glitz Crystal Wine Glass - Gift Boxed, 225mm

I purchased this wine glass as a gift. The packaging survived onward postage to France and the recipient was delighted with her blingy present. Sadly, this was shortlived. The rim of the glass is very fine and being crystal it is under great tension, so any acciental brush with another hard surface is likely to end in tears. Our experience has seen the wineglass being used and hand-washed only on a handful of occasions since purchase in May 2021 before yielding to an accidental knock in August. I can recommend the item for its decorative design and gift appeal, but I cannot endorse it if for continued use.

I've looked after this glass meticulously, washing it very carefully by hand and keeping it in the box when not in use, but it's lasted less than 6 months. A kind of section towards the bottom around the decorated part fell out when the glass was being filled. As beautiful as it looks I don't think I'll be buying another one as it's just not good value if it's going to last such a short period of time.

Bought this for my sister’s birthday. It’s a lovely delicate crystal glass with a few crystals embedded in the glass. Being a single glass it lets it really stand out when next to plain glasses. This worked out as a very nice gift. Comes in a slightly plain-ish box, but it’s not cheap or off-putting at all, just not the padded and velvet lined type that some folk might expect. Doesn’t bother me that they concentrated on glass quality rather than box quality. 5 stars from me, easy.

It’s beautiful!!! Definitely a good gift for anyone who loves wine. However it looks quite fragile so I don’t know how long it could last.P/s: My first glass arrived but had been broken, then Amazon replaced that within 2 days. Fair play to you Amazon.

Bought as an anniversary present for my parents (although I cant see my dad fully appreciating them).Parents haven't received the gift yet but I'm sure they will love them.Very beautiful glasses.I suppose the only down side is the packaging, its not very robust. Its just a cardboard box with some tissue paper round the glass. All being said, they arrived here ok.
