Doesn't stay put on hardwood floor must stick it using carpet tape.
Quality of this runner is great. Gives a good look for the dull hallway space. The jute material gives a stiff feel and slippery effect on my hardwood floor. Im planning to stick it on using some good gorilla double glue tape as my kid always runs around.

This carpet runner is 2" wider than the advertised width and will not fit where we need it to go.Now we have to start looking for the correct size.
