SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC Memory Card up to 95 MB/s, Class 10, U3, V30-128GB

It was the worst buy ever in my life. I bought two cards , as always, same ones but this time they came without the normal package, only in a plastic box, I thought this is weird but I always trusted in Amazon. I'm photographer, I planned a trip to Congo, to take pics of the gorillas...as you can imagine, a real important moment for a photographer. I formatted the card as always, ready for the photoshoting. I started to shot in the middle of the jungle, the speed was very low , I couldn't't even take three pics followed , the camera collapses all the time. I had to stop shooting. And suddenly I couldn't see the images in the camera anymore. The card was corrupted. I was in the middle of the jungle in a crucial moment, and the card was corrupted!! I came back to the hotel very frustrated , and then I compared the corrupted card with an old one, and I realized that was FAKE ! the logos, words etc were similar but not the same. That is why came in a different package. I couldn't't recover the pics , I tried it in a couple of Recovery data companies but unsuccessfuly. I only got 200 pics of 800 that I took.... who will pay me the trip to Congo again? Amazon, be careful what kind of product you are selling...never ever

Wrong description. I received sd ultra 38 mb/s instead of the extreme pro 170 mb/s as advertised. Just wasted a week waiting for the cards and now i will return them.

I got the original ones - May 2019 - and the price for the product is very good. It has to have grey lockers, the “made in China” written brightly in the back and a serial number.PS - I already bought 3 of them. Almost the price of a portable drive but with the commodity of an extra small size.

Quality & Condition is good, also working properly,Still i'm trying to check its high speed performance which's 170 MB/s although what ever i'll find it i'll update .....

GoodAfter 2 days it currupted when I removed accidentally without eject.But save rescue pro license if you purchase you'll get 2 years license for Data recovery software.

As I am using SanDisk for over 10 years it’s okIt’s not that fast but ok you can use it well

It's only one piece , doesn't come with smaller SD card , can use only for prof camera ,not phone

Fake product dont buy it..I received the cards without packagingNo serial numbers on memory card as original.. cheap plastic ..and the speed test only up to 16MB

Alors pourquoi avoir changé la dénomination. I tested the card when it arrived today and the capacity is correct. However here are the read/writes speeds after repeated tests:Warning: Only 60803 of 60874 MByte tested.Test finished without errors.You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.Writing speed: 81.9 MByte/sReading speed: 89.1 MByte/sH2testw v1.4I am aware it says "up to 170MB/s" however this is pretty far from it, isn't it? It even says the same thing on the card, it's not like it's a typo on the Amazon page. Why???

Received a counterfeit card. Speeds were ~11MB/s write/read nowhere near advertised and widely tested ~90MB/s. Checked on two laptops, my old Sandisk Ultra 80MB/s runs at ~30MB/s write & ~50MB/s read (well I don't have the fastest reader on the planet, but it's not an excuse for 11MB/s).Tested both on synthetic tests and real life tests.Print quality of the label and font details looked rather dodgy at times. Returned.

WELCHE SD-KARTE SOLL ICH KAUFEN? EXTREME PRO ODER ULTRA?Vor dem Kauf stand ich wie viele von euch mit der Frage konfrontiert „SanDisk Extreme PRO mit bis zu 95MB/s oder reicht mir auch die günstigere Ultra mit 80MB/s“ ?Es handelt sich hierbei bei beiden Karten um SDXC-Karten, der Speed Class 10, d.h. die Mindestschreibgeschwindigkeit beträgt bei der Ultra (U1) 10 MB/s und bei Extreme PRO (U3) 30MB/s.Allgemein wird die Ultra für Full HD (1080p) empfohlen, ab 4K die Extreme Pro.Meine 24MP SLR-Kamera schafft bis zu 6.8 Bilder pro Sekunde. Ein JPEG Bild ist im Schnitt 13 MB groß, RAW Dateien etwa 28 MB. Ohne zu rechnen, wird einem klar, dass hier bei JPEG und RAW Speicherung eine sehr hohe Datenmenge vom Zwischenspeicher auf die SD-Karte in kurzer Zeit transportiert werden muss. Bei hohen Datenraten kann bei Full HD mit 60 Bildern pro Sekunde schon 10MB/s grenzwertig sein. Wer Videos mit 4k Auslösung dreht, der muss unbedingt die Extreme PRO mit mindestens 30MB/s einsetzen.Daher ist die Schreibgeschwindigkeit der SD Karte von viel größerem Interesse als die Lesegeschwindigkeit. Ich habe in meinem Besitz sowohl die SanDisk Ultra als auch die Extreme Pro und habe die Geschwindigkeiten mit einem USB 3.0 SD-Kartenlesegerät auf einem sehr schnellen Computer zum Vergleich getestet. Falls ihr eure gekauften Karten auch testen wollt, bedenkt bitte, dass die internen Kartenlesegeräte von Laptops häufig nicht so schnell sind, wie ein externer USB 3.0 Hub (max 300 MB/s!)Zur Performance mit SLR-Kameras habe ich einen Test mit Paketgrößen von 50 MiB bis 1GiB mit der SanDisk Ultra und Extreme Pro durchgeführt.PRAXISTEST SanDisk (U3) Extreme PRO (bis zu 95MB/s) 128 GBSequentielle Lesegeschwindigkeiten nach Q32T1 liefern im Schnitt 90 MB/s und die Schreibgeschwindigkeiten betragen 85.51 MB/s.Bei einer Testgröße von 500 MiB performt meine Extreme Pro sogar mit READ 95 MB/s und WRITE mit 89 MB/s.Somit liefert meine vorliegende ExtremePro eine höhere Schreibgeschwindigkeit, als mit mind. 30 MB/s nach (U3) garantiert wird.Perfektes Ergebnis!PRAXISTEST SanDisk (U1) Ultra (bis zu 85MB/s) 128 GBSequentielle Lesegeschwindigkeiten nach Q32T1 liefern im Schnitt 41 MB/s und die Schreibgeschwindigkeiten betragen 30 MB/s.Bei einer Testgröße von 500 MiB performt meine Ultra mit READ 41 MB/s und WRITE mit 38,16 MB/s, schafft aber bei Testgrößen von 50MiB nur 25,61 MB/s und bei 1GiB 27.04 MB/s. Somit liefert meine vorliegende Ultra eine höhere Schreibgeschwindigkeit, als mit mind. 10 MB/s nach (U1) garantiert wird. Enttäuschend, dass mit einer Lesegeschwindigkeit von nur 40MB/s, gerade mal nur 50% der Lesegeschwindigkeit von der Herstellerangabe erreicht wird.Ich habe aber in der Vergangenheit auch schon SanDisk Ultra Karten getestet, die gerade knapp über die 10MB/s in der Schreibgeschwindigkeit nur liegen.TEST SanDisk (U3) Extreme Pro auf Fehler mit H2TestwEs wurden keine Fehler auf der SD-Karte gefunden. Der Schreibtest betrug 1h bei einer mittleren Lesegeschwindigkeit von 33,1Mbyte/s, die Prüfung (Lesen) dauerte 24min bei mittleren 82,8 Mbyte/s. Es wurden 121909 MByte getestet.VERGLEICH UND FAZITDie Testergebnisse zeigen, dass die Testergebnisse der Extreme Pro deutlich näher an den versprochen Herstellerangeben liegen, als bei der Ultra. Wenn Ihr 4k Videos drehen wollt, dann greift auf jedenfall zur ExtremePro. Für Full HD mag die Ultra ausreichend sein, aber wenn ihr so wie ich bereits Geld für eine hochwertige Spiegelreflex ausgegeben habt, dann empfehle ich ebenfalls eine Extreme Pro einzusetzen. Ich habe starke Schwankungen beim Test mehrerer Ultra SD Karten festgestellt, somit bin ich davon überzeugt, dass die Extreme Pro deutlich besser ist.Zudem seid ihr dann auf der sicheren Seite und für die Zukunft gerüstet, falls ihr doch nochmal eine 4k Kamera anschafft. Eine sogenannte „Montag“ Ultra SD Karte, die gerade so über die 10MB/s schafft, bremsen eure Performance bei schnellen Serienaufnahmen bei RAW Format und eventuell auch bei Full HD unnötig aus.Liebe Leser, diese Rezension ist keine Werbung, sondern ich bin selbst ein Hobby Fotograf und Technik affin. Da ich das optimale aus meiner Kamera herausholen möchte, habe ich mich intensiv mit der Thematik beschäftigt und teile diese Erfahrungen. Es ist dennoch zeit intensiv, die Ergebnisse aufzubereiten und dahinter steckt viel Mühe. Sandisk box came opened. Would have been much happier to receive a sealed package from manufacturer. Makes me doubt the authenticity of the item. Seems to work ok and have the specified capacity. Nothing like as fast as I expected and soon slows to a stop on burst shooting. Not convinced it’s genuine thanks to the open box so only one star.
