These are the best replacements for the broken shutters. Some people had difficulty detaching the pins. I used tile nippers which were perfect. There was nothing easy about replacing the broken pins on the shutters. Use construction glue, pliers and lots of patience. I used my pliers to reinforce the pins in the handle, but I forgot to put cloth on the painted side of the handle. Now, I need to touch up paint. Lastly, if you do not glue the pins in, then they will come right out very easily. Put the pin in and add a dot of glue then don't touch the handle until the glue dries overnight. I may have to go back with gorilla glue. The pins are really great. The process is a patient building repair.

Worked to repair lost/broken wooden plantation pins. Docked one star because for ridiculously high price for what it is. You can get 1000 pieces at this price at the big box stores.

Cheap normal staples. Not the ones pictured or needed for shutters. Useless. Don’t waste your time or money on this falsely advertised product.

If you have a home/rental with shutters you need these for repairs.
We have a rental that use to be our home for many years and we had put shutters in the downstairs windows (10). When we lived there we never had issues, but as a rental people/kids don't treat it the same often. Your local hardware stores donut seem to carry the size stale needed to repair shutters when the fall out. The 3 stars are not for product quality but more for the pain in the a$$ it is to reglue them in as they were originally (several youtube videos out there - just need to find the right one for your situation). Shutters (ours) had two different length staples used so get the longer ones so you can just cut them shorter if needed with dikes/wire cutters.
