I gave this to my sister in-law for her daughter’s first birthday. She hadn’t taken her first steps yet even with a walker but literally went for this immediately and started pushing it on her own. Ditch the noisy gimmicky walker toys that are only useful for a few months and get one of these. Toddlers can use them to learn to walk and then for years to come. My daughter always wanted to carry toys around but would often trip herself when she was little. With a little shopping cart like this they can take their buddies with them. My daughter is four and still uses hers and my two year old son loves it too. I hope my niece gets as much use out of this as we have. The assembly was pretty simple and it seems fairly sturdy. The fabric lining should wash pretty easily if needed. The only downside is it certainly can’t hold the weight of a child. Keep an eye out because a two year old will probably try to climb in it. Mine have both climbed into the one we have. Also the little “seat” inside could be tricky for a toddler to use. The little bar that holds it in place falls out easily which would be frustrating for a small kid without the motor skills to fix it. I decided on this particular shopping cart though because of the look. It’s very cute and not bright awful colors which I thought my sister in-law would appreciate. It’s also gender neutral which is a big plus. I like how wide and low the wheels are set too. It’s much more difficult to tip over with that wide stance. It’s really a perfect gift for a one year old!

As I was shopping, I read many reviews from other similar products commenting on the product tipping over when the child's weight is on the handle... Not this item! It's very sturdy.It was really easy to put together; took me about 15 minutes, no problems. The dowels are not labeled per the directions, so you'll need a minute and some common sense to figure it out. You will figure it out!Not pictured: The front part of the basket has a fabric doll seat.Only con you might be shopping for: The wheels do not turn.

Pretty sturdy! After a couple weeks of more hands on help, our 10 month old is now able to walk with the cart independently. We did weigh it down with a heavy book to help with traction. Would recommend!

I was torn between this cart and a wooden buggy (Crown Children 2-in-1 Baby Learning Walker Wooden Strollers with Blocks) so I got both. This is bar far better than the other one because it does not tip nearly as easily when my daughter uses it to pull herself to a standing position. Also, when she runs into the walls with it, the rubber on the wheels is what hits while the other one the wood buggy part hits the wall which at some point will likely damage the wall or the toy. Although this one was more expensive, my daughter loves it and it is totally worth the extra $. I hope she has it for may years to push her baby dolls and use as a play shopping cart.

This is one of my FAVORITE baby buys. I wanted to get my baby a push walker toy but I didn't want plastic and I didn't want something she would lose interest in after she started walking. This she can easily use for years as a buggy or baby stroller. I would suggest putting some heavy books in it at first so that it is harder to slip and fall while walking. I love this!She can easily maneuver it around corners and turns, she loves it!
