makes leaf sweeping a more enjoyable chore
I look after a very large woodland garden with evergreen shrubs. Leaves are the bane of my life... I have a leaf blower but I find it noisy, heavy, vibrates too much and eats too much petrol and lifts up all the stones from the paths and dumps on the grass only for me to have to rake them all off again. After a bit of searching I found my solution - the lawn sweeper! This little machine is lightweight and uses no fuel all you do is push it along and ALL the leaves drop into the bag. Within minutes you have a bag full of leaves which you can dispose of as you wish. You can adjust the height of the brushes to match the terrain/ size of the leaves. If the ground is uneven it is a little more tricky to pick up all the leaves but this can be overcome by adjusting the height. Don't be tempted to fill up the bag too much before emptying because it can get surprisingly heavy. the brushes are also good at removing moss. You can use the sweeper on the road but not on gravel paths or all the gravel will end up in the bag.I managed to jam one of the wheels with a pebble - if this happens you can detach the cover on the outer part of the wheel it clips off - remove the clips and clean the wheel. I have only a few minor gripe - the metal ends that fit on the top rod to stop the bag falling off are quite hard to fit. I had to use a mallet; the rubber end rods on the bottom rod fell off on the first day as did he rubber ends on the curved bar the sweeper rests on. I was perhaps a bit overenthusiastic on the day I took it out for the first time... The Agri-fab is quite expensive for a manual sweeper, but it is very sturdy and well put together. I really do recommend this especially for environmentally conscious gardeners on those who would rather listen to the swish of leaves falling into a bag than be deafened by 90 Db of leaf blower power. I know what I prefer,I have no idea why these fell out of favour.

Good idea with poor execution
Have 500m2 lawn and this looked like a perfect replacement for 2 hours raking. It's a good idea with poor execution. Especially for this price, considering that literally it's a broom on wheels. For 150 pounds it's should be electric. Mine go back to Amazon

Can recommend
Robust, easy to play use, nice wide design with reasonable capacity - it does the job. Removes most leaves etc on first pass, but you may need a rake also. Assembly is straight forward, and despite hating this part, it was easy enough. I note that The franchise Greenthumb use these, which is a useful endorsement. I have to say it is expensive for what it is, but similar models from other manufacturers are about the same cost. I am happy with the purchase.

Very good product
Excellent garden sweeper.Fiddly to put together. It would be more helpful if more of it came assembled and maybe a bit on the expensive side. Overall excellent piece if equipment for a larger garden plagued with fallen leaves/debris.

Very disappointing
Very disappointed when the item was reviewed the box had already been opened and resealed badly and then we realised that the item itself was damaged in three different places so unfortunately not very happy and had to be returned
