Good Griddle!
For this price this is a very good Stainless Steel double griddle. Spacious for 6 or even 8 small pancakes to cook pretty evenly on a double burner. On our Kenmore ceramic double burner, i found that medium-low (3 to 5) works best to evenly cook pancakes with an initial griddle warm up on medium and gradually dropping to a lower setting(3) during cooking. A bit of melted butter brushed on it before cooking makes it perfectly non stick... (Hash browns might be trickier, I know)The best part is that the bottom is perfectly flat before/during/after cooking, which was my main concern in our case of a ceramic cooktop.Cleaning it was easy with some bar keeper powder and a soft dish brush after the griddle had cooled down a bit. The top of the griddle regained its shine and did not discolor. The bottom though, had some dark discoloration in a couple of spots that even bar keeper could not remove completely. But again for this price it will still get 5 stars as long a the bottom stays flat without any warping...

Great griddle for induction stoves
I had to replace all of my stovetop cookware when I got and induction stove. This griddle is very solid and conducts heat very well. It fits my stovetop well. You should check its dimensions against your top to make sure it is not too big.

Didn't cook to my expectations
I bought this to use on an induction stove top with a griddle burner configuration. I washed it lightly with soap and water and dried it before I used it. I didn't put any oil or butter on the griddle. The griddle heated quickly to my mid-range (Med 6/10) temperature setting. I placed four strips of bacon on the griddle and they began to sizzle nicely. But very shortly the bacon started to burn on one side while remaining uncooked on the other. I moved the bacon to the center of the griddle while continuously flipping them from end to end. But the bacon never cooked evenly. The initial cooking area was scorched and the center cooking area was also sticking. The center of the griddle seems higher than the gutter and some of the grease moved into the gutter. I removed the bacon and removed some of the bacon residue.I cracked an egg on the griddle and it immediately started to fry normally on the remaining bacon grease, but some of the egg ran from the center of the griddle into the gutter because of the raised center. There was no way I could recover the egg.The griddle appeared to be solidly made and the cooking surface was shiny. I had great expectations. However, the griddle heated unevenly, even on an induction oven with a griddle configuration, and the center of the pan was raised causing anything you put on the griddle to move toward the gutters.I cleaned up the griddle with soap, water and a plastic sponge and returned it.

Works on induction range, but larger than shown.
Griddle heats well on an induction range top with bridged elements. Even though the two smaller bridged elements areas are still hotter, heat does spread to the corners far better than on a smaller cast iron griddle. As for size, this griddle is larger than the description indicates. The flat bottom is approximately 11" x 18", when including the sides about 13" x 20" overall. I'd have preferred the slightly smaller size indicated in the description. Also, as others have noted, the bottom center is warped up from the edges, but it wasn't as noticeable after hot and overall sits flat. Overall, this appears to be a good stainless griddle for the price.

Poor reviews on this product are a reflection of inexperience and ignorance
The griddle was beautifully polished and finished. -I changed that for the better! Taking some cheap (or rancid) vegetable oil, I smeared some on the griddle and wiped off excess. I heated it up to smoking point, and let it cool off. It now has the same food release finish that cast iron fanatics rave about.Know how to care for this. You don't want to let more oil polymerize, unless it's an extremely thin layer. Half polymerized oil will turn gummy -that's not a product fault! Otherwise, you're looking at scraping / scrubbing and ruining the seasoning. -Poly carbonate scrapers are good for removing some things without damage, but only when the griddle is cooled.I was skeptical of the even heating. I wasn't sure I could trust the pics of pancakes in the product page. Furthermore, I want far better than cast iron results, and it delivered as seen in the pic. There was some variance of temperature on the IR thermometer, but less than a third what I'd expect from cast iron. It heats up fast, and retains heat (turned burner off after last pancake flipped, and it turned out fine). It is domed a little. Expect eggs and oil to slightly gravitate to the sides. -Not necessarily a bad thing. Handles get hot: beware.

Great on glass cook stove and coil. Cleans up easily with steel pads.
I was looking for something that was not nonstick for health reasons. This is large. It fits across both burners but still tucks safely away in the drawer beneath my oven. So far we have had pancakes, egg in a holes and grilled cheese and I have no problems with sticking as long as I spray with pam first. Even when the eggs from the egg in a holes spilled out, and cooked onto it, I just soaked it for a bit in water and used a stainless steel pad to make it look shiny and brand new again! We just got a new oven. The old one had the raised coils. It kind of burned a coil mark into the back of the pan. No big deal. And there was no warping. Now we have the flat surface glass range and it works great. I would highly recommend. It is a solid piece of workmanship. The handles get hot when you are cooking. Still love using it.

Fantastic
The piece is gorgeous, well built and timeless. With care, this could easily be an heirloom item passed down generation to generation. If you know how to season and cook with stainless cookware it works great. Remember to oil the griddle, preheat, and cook at lower temps to avoid sticking.

Pretty but not working for us.
Pretty. Durable and easy to clean. It came with a big scratch across the front. It was a gift so we didn’t notice right away. It does not seem to heat evenly... but this could be my induction cooktop. Not sure.
