My original key fob was falling apart and no longer working correctly. The outer padding had come off, exposing the internal components and letting moisture in, which caused further damage. Replacing the entire key fob was going to cost over $200, so I looked for a more affordable solution and decided to try replacing just the outer casing.After some research, I ordered this key fob shell replacement. Once it arrived, the swap was quick and easy—I simply transferred the internal parts from my old key fob into the new shell and reassembled it. I also replaced the battery so everything would be fresh.The new shell works great overall, except for the lock button. I realized that with the old casing so worn down, I must’ve damaged the contact point inside, so the lock function no longer engages electronically. I now lock my car manually, but considering the savings, I can live with that.If you're dealing with a worn-out key fob and want a budget-friendly alternative, I definitely recommend this. Just keep in mind that if the internal components are already damaged, some buttons might not function perfectly. Otherwise, it's a simple and cost-effective fix!

I don't usually write reviews but this product saved me a lot of time and money. Almost paid for a new key fob and getting it programmed through the dealership or a locksmith for close to $200. Got this shell and swapped out the internals (very easy) for a fraction of the cost and time. Great product!

Was an exact fit to the original factory DODGE key fobs. I saved the key blanks, so if I ever need them because my factory keys fit into the slot and locked in perfectly 👌. Definately worth the price to get rid of my ugly 13 year old broken fobs. I hope the writing on the fobs doesn't wear off quickly, that's my only concern.

Works well for a 2014 Dodge Durango. Quality seems good. Dropped it to 4 starts because I could not use my old back with the Dodge logo. It just would not fit together despite being very similar looking.

My spare key fob got stepped on and broken. Ordered this one to replace to keep the electronics safe. Easy change out. Works great. Reasonable Price.

Not an exact fit (2017 Jeep Renegade) - it is too thin to fit my physical key blade in. Now I have to buy another one. Very disappointing.
