The book title states it’s contents are for those getting started into hydroponics. In my opinion, this is an overstatement bordering on deception. There are a number of issues with the book in both content and structure that diminish its value as a guide or reference.First the content is best compared to a first draft of a mediocre attempt at a thesis statement by a third rate biology student. It is full of excessive technical jargon and process details that are both intimidating for the novice and unnecessary.The structure of this book suggests that no budget existed for proof reading, grammatical, and structural integrity of the content. The book contains a plethora of random hyphens placed in random, normally hyphen free, words. The table of contents exists but the pages lack any type of numbering. There are no illustrations of concepts which often help better demonstrate a concept to beginners.TLDR:Don’t waste your time or money. There are many more easily digestible books that provide illustrations or photographs and are in general much more suited as cover to cover reading material as well as reference books.
