I have very fine, chin-length hair that I've been wanting to find a product for to add volume and hold well. I bought Suavecito (the guys' version of this) last weekend and really liked it, but the smell is really overpowering, and I realized pretty fast that I don't want to have that overpowering guy smell. Like, even after showering I could still kind of smell it. I bought this and tried it out today and am really excited about it! The grapefruit/strawberry smell is subtle, but really nice, and it's also a little lighter and less sticky than Suavecito. It's also a huge added bonus that you can do retro waves and curls with this product because I style my hair like that semi-frequently. I think this stuff is better than gel or other firm hold styling products because it's lightweight and workable and it only takes a little bit to give volume to your hair.EDIT: After using for a little while, I will say that it *is* pretty sticky, and if you have fine hair you'll probably rip out some hair while putting it in- I've been putting it in while my hair is wet to minimize that but it still happens. BUT- this is SO great for wet sets with foam rollers! I've tried so many different types of sets to try to get retro-looking curls, and I've always used setting lotion on dry hair (with hot rollers, rag curls, different types of foam rollers), but I tried this on wet hair with regular drug store foam rollers and didn't even have to leave the rollers in very long at all and got actual defined waves that stayed in a pretty long time. It's SO hard to get my hair to curl and stay curled without immediately going flat, so that really says a lot! Also adds shine, just don't use too much or it'll get greasy.

It states it's Wild Berry scent, but ours smells like maybe there's a single berry in the bottom of a basket of roses and other flowers. I can't stand it, but my daughter seems to like it. It works pretty good.

Let me start off by saying, I just received my Suavecita pomade. The hair product itself has a sweet & clean scent. It smells amazing! The product is transparent in color, smooth, easy to put on and easy to wash off. It helps keep those flyaway hairs down and in place without getting hard. It isn't super sticky like some other pomades I've used in the past. I think I truly found a hair product that works for me and my family.With total transparency I want to say that the first time I received this product, half of it was missing. It looked like someone had opened it and scooped out half the product. I contacted the seller who went above and beyond to make it right. They sent me a replacement container and this time nothing had been missing inside. I only wish it was filled to the top like other products on the market today. I hope what happened the first time with this product was just a mistake. I look forward to ordering this product in the future.I didn't want anyone to be hindered by possibly trying this product for themselves because of negative reviews. I too read them and I still ordered the product.Yes, I was one of those people like several others who had missing product inside. Like I wrote before the seller replaced my product and I am pleased all the way around.Hopefully, they can look into what's happening and why product seems to be missing from customers orders.
