Totally different than description and arrived with a crack in it.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The item came well packaged and in great condition. The board itself is sturdy, well made, very attractive, and of higher quality than the price point would suggest. The base is solid wood, but the design is on a printed textured fabric (I'd say a nylon blend, if I had to guess) that is adhered to the board, which lends a nice smooth surface for the planchette to move around on. I would have like to have seen felt feet on the planchette for increased glide performance, but that's hardly a complain. The artwork is lovely and printed well on the fabric, and definitely exudes that old-world occult vibe that I was looking for in a spirit board.

While I have not yet used this to cause doom and destruction on my enemies not have I used it to grant my powers and health it seems good. I know that I can first use it to find fortune and fame, and then power and persuasion, before I spend an eternity in hell. Or I'll just talk to my dead grandmother. O.K., find. I am a psychology teacher and I use this to talk about the ideomotor effect, the same thing pendulum divining and dosing rods and facilitated communication use. Good for that purpose.

This board/planchette is very nice and pretty, but every time I try to talk to the dead, they don’t seem to want to have anything to do with me or my board.It’s pretty rude, and I guess I just have to accept that the problem is either me or the board. I am not willing to accept that ghosts don’t want to be my friends quite yet, so that leaves the board.

This is nicer than I expected. It seems well made and is appropriate for the price. It looks great and much better than the standard one you see in stores everywhere. The box is flimsy for sure as it is one piece and not a separate bottom with lid, so I don’t expect the box to hold up. The paper is not peeling off on mine and looks well made for what it is. I don’t expect to find the answer to where I can find some buried gold, but I’m sure it will be fun to play with my tween who really wanted one. My friends and I used to play for hours when I was her age.

Nice spirit board with graphics silk screened printed on polyester or silk? Got results on second attempt using the board. No damage incurred to board during shipment. Item wrapped in bubble wrap and enclosed in a plastic bag. Board back is MDF fiberboard and is durable.

When it arrived, I loved the fact each item was individually packaged in bubble wrap so not to scratch the other. I personally am using this as a Halloween prop but it looks very authentic for those who want to use it for other purposes. The planchette (small heart shaped piece that can be moved around) is absolutely beautiful! It was one of the main reasons I purchased this particular board pair. Note this is a Spirit Board not a Ouiji Board. The board itself is nice and thick and will not disappoint. Enjoy!

Although the product was ok, the board that was sent is not the same as the image or the dimensions. Unfortunately, I was searching for a very specific image and size for a gift. What I received was not what I was expecting. The seller needs to replace the image and description so other people are not misled.

What I received looks like it does in the photo. However, the description is false. It is not made of wood. The product name is "Antique Look Wooden" not "Wooden Look" -- what you receive is inexpensive particle board, possibly cardboard, not a nice quality wooden board. The planchette is also very cheap feeling, made of the same material or plastic; although it appears to be metal and better quality in the photo. Definitely not worth $65. So it looks the same, however quality and item description are questionable. It will still be used as a decoration - people will just have to look at it from far away so they can't see how cheap it is.

This product came in a very timely manner but it did have a tiny bit of damage on one corner . The product looks exactly as described and is made of sturdy construction material. It will definitely work nicely for my needs in communication with the spirits.

The board looks cool, I can never seem to use it properly or something though. No spirits ever want to communicate with me.

The board was really nice and sturdy. Not super expensive, but not cheap cardboard either. The only thing i didn't like was the planchette didn't glide across the board smoothly at all. I had to improvise with materials at home
