I really hate to ding this product
I really hate to ding this product, because audio-wise, its outstanding. Its solidly built and it looks amazing sitting in your console with those golden woofers - clean, elegant, minimalist.. Klipsch just knocked it outta the park. My only gripe is the Red/Black audio connectors in the back. What a freaking nightmare. There's only ONE interface to this whole speaker that a user has to deal with and i swear, the Klipsch engineers were sitting around a table and said to each other, "Hmmm... how could we design this so that its near impossible for users to insert the speaker wires in there?" Like WTF man??!! Where do i begin:1) Most speaker or receiver audio connectors now allow the use of banana-plug type connectors for ease of connection. But no, Klipsch has to fill in the center hole (for no good reason) so that is no longer an option. You need to feed the wire through the post old-school style2) Add to that they recessed the freakin' posts, so that you have to go IN, before you go DOWN. That makes it infinitely more difficult to access, because the holes in the posts go vertical / up-down. So you gotta bend the wire into a 90-degree angle like an "L" before trying to feed it through.3) Then add to that.. the area that you have to work with is so freakin small (about 2 square inches), that trying to feed in a wire thats bent 90-degrees in way harder than it needs to be.4) Finally, the size of the hole might be able to fit a 16 or 14 awg, but there's no way a 12 AWG wire goes through. I like to be conservative with my wiring and give it plenty of thickness, but 12 AWG wire is almost impossible to get through the hole.Damn... I swear Klipsch engineers were asleep on this one when they had to do possible the easiest thing for these speakers. How hard is it to just take a minute to think through how user's are going to wire this thing up. Like WTF man... get your act together bro!UPDATE (3/17/17) - another reviewer pointed out to me that what seemed like solid core posts were just caps that covered up the holes, and could be popped off. Thanks J. Yun :-) Upgrading my review to 5 stars. A little annoyed it was made a little more obvious that could be done. There was no documentation whatsoever :(

You get what you pay for
Found out the hard way. Should have done my research on center channel importance first. This Klipsch is far better than my Polk unit. Polk was good but not as good as this Klipsch but then the Klipsch was almost 4x the price. The Klipsch is more impactful, clearer and powerful. You get what you pay for. Just getting started in home theater realm. This is only my second center channel experience because I was not satisfied with the Polk. I now concur with others before me on the assessment of good center channel speaker because it does take the brunt of the sound. I gave the Klipsch 4 stars even though it's the best I've heard in system only because I have experienced any other high quality center channel speakers. I'm very happy with this klipsch model. It's a bargain compared to the next addition. Don't believe the sound quality difference in this model is that much less (if there is a substantial difference) than the pricier new version.Hope this review helps.

I can hear dialogue again!!
Various parts of my Home Theater system are getting somewhat long in the tooth, most notably my center channel speaker, a Boston Acoustics unit. It never really had great clarity or what I would have expected out of a center channel but it was ok for a few years. Enter the Klipsch, a brand I am familiar with and know what they sound like (my current surround speakers). This center channel is simply out of this world. High volume, low volume, it really doesn't matter. I can hear the voices perfectly. It sounds open, airy and is easily heard, no matter the content. It also packs quite a punch when necessary to bring the front 3 speakers together. This speaker is well worth the money spent. A+!

Electronic Expo... Thank You for an Excellent Value in Product Purchasing...
I debated for quite a while on this purchase. I almost bought Polk instead of Klipsch. This Speaker is the Epitome of Center Channel Speakers! Klipsch has definitely reached their 'apex' in the design and manufacture of this unit. The speaker is very efficient in the use of Amp power and the balance among the 5 drivers is very even. The highs are not harsh and the lows are not muddy. I used it to replace a 15 Year Old Boston Acoustics Center speaker. Thank You Klipsch and Thank You Electronics Expo for selling a "Like New" used product in pristine condition. The delivery was fast. The double packed carton arrived Unscathed! Thanks Again, Brian
