Remington PG6250 WetTech Lithium Powered Head, Beard, & Body Grooming Kit, Trimmer (8 Pieces)

I purchased this clipper / trimmer after my last device was dropped on the bathroom tile floor when the cord got in the way. The product is listed on Amazon as: “Remington PG6250 WetTech Head, Beard and Body Grooming Kit, Black”. I was able to save a few bucks over the local Target store. I got a great product and not have to interact with people or put on pants, pants are evil! The clippers are well made, cordless and water resistant. Have used in the shower for grooming with out problems, the body head did leave a bad irritation on my neck so I won’t be using it there again. Battery life is great and have only charged it once in the last two months with light to moderate use. I actually only charge it then because with the Hurricane Matthew and the possibility of losing power for a length of time, I wanted to be sure they were well charged. The accessories that come with it are adequate and even though the trimmer head is 1/3 smaller than my old clippers, it was not noticeable when using, even to do my whole head. This This product shipped on time and was packaged well. I found myself having a larger and larger bald spot on the back of my head, so finally decided to just keep my head trimmed short and be done with it. I purchased this set of trimmers, as it was able to be used in the shower and had all the attachment sizes/pieces I thought I would need. I was using a regular set of hair trimmers prior to this and am extremely happy I switched.This little guy works wonders on quickly trimming my entire head down on a weekly basis to keep a tight, clean look. Whether dry or wet (wet is by far preferred), this set of clippers cuts through the job with ease. The charge lasts quite a bit of time and the power seems steady up until it is about to fail and requires charging. The guards and body trimmer parts work great and don't get clogged with hair, especially if in the shower.I ended up using a travel kits to hold all these pieces for ease of storage. I imagine a zippered travel bag would have been a nice touch, but certainly not a deal breaker. I wish there was a warning light on this device to let you know when the charge was getting critically low, as I have found myself nearly running out of juice while cutting my hair.Overall, the charging "snap" on device is pretty handy. The light on the device does tell you it is charging or full. And the blades are still cutting strong after months and months of use. I find this WetTech trimmer to be far superior at keeping a clean look for my balding head. Does work on chest, arm pit, and other sensitive areas too.

This trimmer does an excellent job cutting through my thick hair. I mainly use it to trim down spots on my face I can't comfortably reach with a razor. Battery time is excellent, and as an added bonus the trimmer really is water resistant. I would be hesitant to use it in the shower, but I have gotten it wet a few times without problems. The included attachments are a nice bonus for those trying to maintain a beard. All in all, this trimmer is a great upgrade from the dinky foldout trimmers you'll find on electric shavers.There is one thing that should be emphasized, though. This trimmer certainly trims perfectly well, but it doesn't trim quite as closely as I'd have hoped. The foldout trimmer on my old electric razor was a pain in the butt to use because of its small size and odd placement on the unit, but that trimmer could trim right up against the skin if I wanted it to. Not so with this Remington. You won't be getting baby skin smooth trims out of this trimmer, so don't expect to be doing a clean shave with it.This is a perfect tool for maintaining a beard or mustache, but if you're looking for something to do a closer shave, consider an actual shaver.

The Remington PG6250 was a unit I was purchasing to replace an old norelco razor I had used for almost 15 years. I had expected much of this unit at first because many that I have looked at in stores seemed to be inferior in quality (flimsy plastic, short battery life), but this unit surprised me. I was able to get it on sale through amazon and decided to give it a shot - and I'm glad I did. This product has sturdy construction and a non-slip grip on the plastic almost feeling like rubber (which is great considering I use this to shave my beard in the shower and the unit does get wet). The different heads were nothing to write home about, but were adequate for my needs. The charging cradle is great for use if you're hanging it (much like barber would), but even if you're not - it works just fine. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I've had for about 6 months at this point and I think I've only had to charge it twice. I would definitely recommend this item.

I've bought 2 of these now (1st one lasted ~3 yrs of daily use on original blade), and this is the closest "stubble" shave I've gotten. I can't shave my face clean everyday due to sensitive skin, but like to keep the stubble as short as possible every morning. I've tried about 4 other brands/models, and this is by far the closest shave and easiest to use/clean/charge/etc. The battery will last about 10 days on a full charge with a daily 5-7 minute shave, and it is completely waterproof for easy cleaning. I hope they don't discontinue this model as I plan to buy another one in a few years when my 2nd one wears out, which by the way I consider great lifespan for a trimmer under $30.

I have been using this shaver for 7 years now and counting. Can't believe it has lasted me this long!
