A grotesque member of Jabba the Hutt's court, Ephant Mon is a monstrous, upright pachydermoid with tough, wrinkled skin, stubby legs, and large, powerful hands. The front of his form is dominated by a long face, with watery, pensive eyes, and a tusk- filled snout. This action figure of Ephant Mon features awesome detail and comes with his walking stick in the form of a gruesome bone.

WOW! Literally the finest piece of *ART* masquerading as a Toy available.
I've been buying and enjoying Star wars figures and vehicles, creatures and dioramas for decades now and this figure BY FAR is the nicest Figure yet (and it came out it 2002). It has so much substance literally- the weight of it could kill a man and its very tall and wide- and figuratively- honestly unreal details such as the sculpt and paint, insanely creative alien and features (elephant's tail, mouth opens and closes, the stance, his blade and staff and back story) I wish I wouldn't have passed this one up when browsing all the different figures to buy. I'm ashamed I had no idea how absolutely perfect this ART piece is. No wonder it is a fan's choice figure. Hasbro out did themselves with this one... And it was nearly 15 years ago. This is now my personal favorite ( and I have waaay too many to count). This is just as finely detailed and hefty and accessorized as the BLACK SERIES 2015 Rancor pit that was a SDCC exclusive. In fact I think that's the best way to describe this Ephant Mon... He is the Original BLACK SERIES. Heck maybe even a new category, the PLATINUM SERIES. Buy this guy asap if Star Wars toys are your "thing". Its worth every dollar, maybe even double what he's going for!

One of the best basic Star Wars figures
I wasn't able to find this figure in stores when it was originally released, which was frustrating, because it looked incredibly cool, and now, after all these years, it was just as exciting to finally have it in hand as I ever could have hoped! The detail on this figure is amazing, part of the reason I enjoy collecting the larger than normal Star Wars figures. The figure is built like a brick, and while he won't win any awards for articulation, he has just as much as should be expected, and is probably the last figure you'd ever have to worry about breaking through continued use. He may not appeal to kids who don't know who he is and are interested in more familiar characters, but as a grown collector, he's just what the doctor ordered.

OMG this thing is heavy
This is a heavy figure. The paint job is really nice and this thing is heavy. Don't bother trying to hang this because it is really heavy. Fan favorite figure, great mold and did I mention? This thing is heavy.

Cool figure, great detail!
This is one of those figures I didn't know I wanted until I saw it. There is so much detail on this thing it puts some of the Black Series figures to shame. It won't win any articulation or poseability awards, but he looks so cool and it's neat that you can open & close his mouth. If you can find him for a good price, I recommend you pick him up. You won't be disappointed!

Big toy for the normal price...
I don't much play with the toys so much as collect them, but I do set them up in dioramas from time to time. First off, this has no educational value whatsoever unless you want to learn about Star Wars characters. But sometimes, fun is greater than learning. As for the figure itself, Hasbro gives us a gift of a figure for the normal price. This thing, at least when I kid first picks it up, is pretty heavy for an action figure. You can't post it too much, and it doesn't come action posed - which I like. He doesn't stand up too well either, so if you are a collector, you'll need a stand for him. The hidden blade that is supposed to stick to his belt doesn't stay very well either. It fits fine in his cane though.Overall, a great figure for both collectors and the kids.

Figure looks amazing for display.
Its not as big as the star wars black series (comparable more to the older action figures by kenner). The original packaging was include and in bad shape but I went in thinking Id just get the figure so this was more of a nice surprise than set back. Kinda gives the Black series a run for their money in quality and detail. Impressive.

Ephant Mon
He is perfect! And a great deal for a figure no longer in production. Looks great in the TVC Jabba's palace.
