When you apply liquid Air-8 and water it in, it dives down into the soil breaking bonds between molecules which creates space. Every bond that is broken creates more space (aka greater soil surface area) where grass roots can then spread and grow. This also pulls down moisture and carbon since humic acid is also included in the mix. If you have hard, compacted clay soil, Air8 liquid lawn aeration is an excellent alternative to the butt kicking you get from mechanical aeration. It's a good idea to have some soil moisture present before you apply so water the lawn the day before you apply if you are in a dry season. You should also water in liquid Air8 after you apply. The recommended application rate is 9 oz per 1,000 sq ft. 1 gallon = 128 oz At the app rate of 9 oz/1,000 sq ft, you will get: 14,222 sq ft of coverage from a single gallon Apply in spring and fall to help increase water penetration into the soil and allow roots to spread and grow. Don’t get on your skin!
It rained yesterday and I applied air-8 on apart of my lawn that constantly pools water. I will have to wait to see results, but one thing for sure, wear gloves! I spilled quite a bit on my right hand and my skin has been wrinkled and cracked all day! It verges on painful. I hope it does what I need it to and I’ll for sure wear rubber gloves next time I work with it.

Works even in hard sandy soil!
I live the Sandhills area, and our lawn gets as hard as a rock in bear spots. The ground is softer, and moisturer throughout the yard! We had to dig trenches to add sprinkler heads, and I was amazed at how easy it was to dig! I’m 60 ish female, and I was able to dig a trench about 24’ log to add to sprinkler heads. Wonderful product!

It stains
What ever you do, do not spill on anything you don’t want brown. My unfinished butcher block is now stained a brown color because I accidentally over filled the measuring cup and it. Went. EVERYWHERE!!! Stained my hands floor and butcher block. Other than that I love it!

Just applied product,so when we see some growth or better root growth will post some pics.Easy to apply just added water in back pack sprayer and applied.
