Where's Waldo? The Coloring Book

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great coloring book for any one who also enjoys the Where's Waldo style books. It was certainly a blast from the past for me. My kids started us on the Where's Waldo books and, being the type of who enjoys puzzles, brain teasers and logic puzzles, the progression to the “find me” book was easy. The coloring book is absolutely in the same vein. I've already purchased three copies for the Waldo fans in my family and will be picking up more of these to give out as holiday gifts this years.In this coloring book, you have lots of designs that spread across two pages where you can find Waldo as well as his 27 lost pencils and look for many other items along the way. There are checklists for all designs (but not a key with answers) at the back of the book. The designs are very detailed, intricate and many have tiny spots to color. I am sure to pull out my tiny nib gel pens, ultra-fine water-based markers as well as my sharpest pencils while coloring in this book. I did note that some backgrounds, colors, and/or frames have pre-filled in color.This is what I found while beginning to color (these will take a while to complete!) and testing my various coloring medium on this book.27 Designs (26 spread across two pages)Printed on both sides of the page with some color and backgrounds already filled-inPaper is heavyweight, white, slightly rough, non-perforatedDesigns merge into the binding areaGlue Bound – I don't recommend trying to remove the pages from the pages from the book.Can be forced flat for coloring by breaking the spine.Alcohol-based markers bleed through the paper.Water-based markers do not bleed through.India ink pens leave shadows on the back of the page.Gel pens do not bleed through and do not need extra drying time.Colored pencils worked well. I was able to get good color, blending and layering with both wax and oil based pencils.

Absolutely wonderful coloring book! I had this pre-ordered as soon as it came up on Amazon and it's everything I expected and more. There's lots of great pages to color, many of which I've never seen before. I actually really like that some of the pages have some larger, already filled-in sections because I think it helps your own coloring work pop out a lot more! The designs are very intricate with lots to fill in and the line-work is the perfect thickness. The book itself is extremely high quality with a nice glossy cardboard cover and thick pages. There are designs printed on both sides of a page, but given the quality of the pages I'm not too worried about bleeding. Such a fun idea! This is definitely going to be one of my new go-to gifts. This one's a total win for both adults and kids!

Found Waldo so easily photos seem tedious to color, not as interesting. Guess he's harder to find when you're a kid lolOdd I was so looking forward to this book.At the back of the book there are checklists with more things to find in the photos, this just earned the book another star lol plus you have to find 27 of Waldo's lost pencils, I'm guessing there is one in each photo--unclear. Wow just found a pencil! bahahahahDid not arrive on time with Prime 2-day shipping. But was given $5.07 gift certificate and it arrived the next day. It was marked as delivered the previous day...odd

I've been through so many coloring books and this one is by far my favorite. It's intricate, challenging, humorous, and most of all fun! There are so many tiny things to view on each page and some are hilarious. I've done a double take more than once and said, "What the heck?" This artist is great! This coloring book has ruined it for me, now all the other ones are just okay.....

The illustrations are everything I hoped they'd be. Very fun! My issue is with the paper of the book. The tiny coloring spaces beg for a marker, but markers bleed through. I tried all different kinds of markers and felt tip pens and nothing worked for coloring in this book. Crayons are way too big, this is a colored pencil only coloring book.

The coloring pictures are from the books. It's a lot of fun noticing the details of Waldo books when coloring. Takes a while to color, which is nice, and the quality is great. We love it!

Great book but don't think waldo is in the same place as he is on the matching design in the books because they've moved him! Wish there was examples to copy what colors but other people probably like making it up. You need fine tip markers there is mostly very small details.

For Where’s Waldo lovers, this is the perfect coloring book. It has classic Waldo scenes with all of the intricacies you’d expect. It will take a lot of time to get through this one!The large sky or other parts are already colored for you, which is a bonus.I recommend thin markers or colored pencils.

My 19 year old daughter LOVES this colouring book. She has anxiety issues and colouring helps calm her down. Well designed/great quality pages. Highly recommended!

It was perfect just got it today it arrived very late

This book is amazing. The pages are filled with detailed images and fun activities to add to each page. I'm using pencil crayons cuz I didn't want marker to bleed thru. This book will take a long long time to complete. Worth every dollar

Wonderful and detailed coloring book. The paper is thicker then I was expecting, I have been using stadler tripping markers and they do not bleed through the page.
